  3. I just got a 7'2" Phenix M1 MH/F casting rod for spinners and I can't put it down. Mike

  5. I've tryed them all..Still own them all...But I'm partial to the Scum Frog. Mike
  6. Palomar for braid- retie when I see any fraying at all. San Diego Jam for all others- retie if I see or feel a nick anywhere in the line. I'll also retie after 5 -6 fish, or sooner if fish had to be dragged out of cover a few times. Mike

  8. In the back, just below where the hook point rest's on top for a horizontal fall or just past the nose for a more verticle one. I use either ribbed finishing nail's or the packaged short ones. Go slow when you put it in, theres not a lot of room. Mike

  11. I don't want to take this in another ditection, but If we're gonna add other species... I had Tarpon allmost rip my arms out of the socket's!! But I'd still rather hook up a 10# LM. Mike

    X2 The only difference in your gear and mine is that I use a heavy action rod. A M/H can work just as well. Mike
  16. I believe the sent Gambler uses for thier plastics is Bang. At least they used too. Mike
  17. I'm the opposite... I always trim mine regardless of the brand,. I trim to where the edge of the guard is even with the barb of the hook. I find that the stiffness after trimming is not that big of a deal. Then spread them out a little. Mike
  18. Been useing 15# Invisix for 3 years now for all plastics and light jig's, and I've found no reason to switch. Mike
  19. My jig rod is a All Star ASR. They were disconntinued a few years ago. If you can find one, You won't be dissapointed. Mike
