Please Help Me Pair my combos
I am normally a Co-Angler and only have 5 or 6 combos so I was able to keep everything under control but now this season I am finally an owner of a bass boat and went overboard buying rods and reels this season. I added 6 new casting combos and now I am not sure what reels to pair with what rods to maximize each combo. I like the technique specific setups and ultimate what I am aiming for. I also have two rods without reels currently so any suggestions on what reels is add would be great to. I also have bulk spools of 12# and 17# Fluoro and 8# and 10# Mono to fill all the reels as well as 2 filler spools of 50# braid. Thank you in advance for helping with this. 7'1" MF 6'9" MF 6'10" MMF 7'1" MHF 6'9" MHF 7' MHF 7"3" HXF 7' HXF 7' HF 6'9" HF (Frog Special) Reels: 6:1 KK Spartacus 6:1 Concept Z 7:1 SV Spool 7:1 SX 7:1 STX 7:1 Accurist 8:1 SX 8:1 Carbonlite

Kistler Helium 3 Heavy
They are one of the lightest rods on the market and can sometimes be a pain to find a reel to balance well with. I have found if your a stickler on a perfect balanced rod a reel sub 7oz is what you want. Anything heavier will make it heavier towards the reel.

Can’t recommend this rod enough
I do not. The only Mag 2 rod I still have is the 7'3" HMH for jigs. For Medium powered I generally use the KLX Feel N Reel since most applications using a Med power is moving baits for me.

Remington Fishing Rods
Negative. I've heard of Reddington? They make Fly Rods.

Rationale for Choosing Dropshot Weights/Styles
I keep it simple. I just use tungsten cylindrical weight. As for weight it ranges from 1/8-3/8.

Leak of the new Daiwa Tatula Elite reel
I really feel like we are starting to get technique specific reels now to match our rods. What I mean is the SV is great for close quarter fishing and light presentations. Now this Elite is made for larger resistant baits like a spinnerbait, crank, etc where you bomb casts and crank.

Molds from Ukraine
I have their twin injector. Got both 4oz injectors and the blending block for $60. It works but I wouldn't trust it if I was selling baits. Metal is very thin and O-rings are crap. I have no experience with their molds.

Spinning reel suggestions
If you like Pflueger I would look at the Abu Garcia Revo Rocket. It can be found quite often on Ebay for $150 brand new
-
Tungsten weight
I would start with 1/2oz and see if it is heavy enough to punch through.
-
Tungsten weight
Depending on how thick they are you can go to Woo Tungsten and get their "Heavy" pack it contains 5 weights that very in weight from 1oz to 2oz. If they are not thick like the ones I fish normally I use 3/8 to 3/4 oz.

How Are Polarized Ray Bans for Fishing?
What @FishinBuck07 said. I have a pair of polarized "driving" Ray-Bans that I have used out on the water when I forgot my Oakleys and they worked good but the glare or sun itself that comes in through the sides sucked. They work if you are fully facing the sun or have your back fully to the sun but once the rays or glare come at you in an angle the polarization won't matter because you'll be blinded.

Rocky reservoirs
I have an electric tournament this weekend on a rocky res that is primarily smallmouth. I was practicing last weekend and caught them on a 110 whooper plopper in the morning. Once the sun rose I was catching them on a ned rig on isolated rock piles in the open water or a 110 jerkbait trolling all the rip rap. I had some success on a drop shot and swim jig as well.

Weirdest Sponsorship Offer Ever
I fish a lot of southern MI and never could fathom catching a 10+ lber out of there. I would probably have a heart attack is I did.

Weirdest Sponsorship Offer Ever
You got my hopes up that there were 12lbers in Michigan.

I really wish I knew what company you were speaking of. Dang censorship.

weightless wacky rigged senko: do you set the hook?
This is my hookset. Just reel in the slack and flick the wrist up and start reeling. Most wacky hooks are light wire and do not need that violent set you see on tv.

Michigan Tackle, colors and shapes advice
I'm in Ohio on the MI boarder and do a lot of Michigan fishing. The lakes tend to be clearer than the lakes I fish in Ohio. Hard baits I lean toward the Gizzard Shad pattern or a natural shad pattern. I throw craws almost exclusively over beaver style baits and a lot of white and grey soft plastic baits. Those are all companion to Green Pumpkin because GP is still king.

I really enjoy using Yum products. Their prices are great and products are awesome.

Weirdest Sponsorship Offer Ever
I have absolutely zero interest in joining the team Essentially it was share our content on social media, Buy 5 rods within 30 days and at least 2 rods every year after and you are on the "Team" and get a discount. I just don't understand how that benefits them having someone praising them that knows absolutely nothing about their product.

Weirdest Sponsorship Offer Ever
A few weeks ago I made a post asking about Enigma Rods. There wasn't a lot of info shared as I expected since I can't seem to find much info on their rods besides the discontinued Aaron Martens rod. But anywho, I decided to send Enigma an email explain I was interested in learning more about their rods such as guides, blank, reel seat; anything that I could use to compare to other manufactures. I get a fast response back answering all my questions. Then a couple hours after their response I receive another email Congratulating me on being accepted to their pro staff and all the docs outlining their expectations and staff benefits. This is the weirdest "sponsorship" offer I have ever received. I'm not sure what the benefit for them would be to have someone who knows nothing about the company trying to sell their products.

Any word on a newer rod company
They have been around for awhile. However, they were not marketing to the bass guys it was more crappie, walleye, trout, etc. They were making custom builds for bass. About a year or so ago they added the bass line of readily available rods. I have not actually used or held one just know a little about the company because their walleye series rods are HUGE in my neck of the woods.
