I have for over 15 years. Hard jerking hooksets not needed with ned rig just smooth sweeping motion and I use Trokar ned heads. Plus easier more control skipping neds with bc reel like Daiwa sv105 or curado 70 vs spinning reel. So you never actually fished a ned rig with braid cause your statement is 100% incorrect.

4# or 8# Nanofil for spinning reels. On baitcaster 10# straight braid.

I can set any reel I own to do this not just SV spooled reels.

I have mine with same brake setting on an NRX893 the reel has impressed me more already than the TatSv ever has.

I have both those SV reels the spool tension would need to be tighter and high brake settings for thumb free at end of cast. For "normal" casting or any reasonable distance the settings would have to be much looser and thumb needed at end of cast. Just got the TS3 and to get thumb free like in this vid below max brake and overly tight spool tension and no distance, would not fish it set up as such.

When my uncle was still alive I got to fish a private farm pond in Auburn Kansas bass every cast it was great. They were good size too 18"-19". Wasnt any real skill involved they hit anything.

Ive used l&l a few times with 10-12-16# sniper fc. Didnt really notice much benefit so dont currently have it on any line and not having any issues.

One of the best qualities of braid that I mention over and over, enhanced feel of the fight. Braid gives much more feedback on what the fish is doing making the retrieval of the fish more enjoyable than with dead mono or FC lines. Sort of like the difference between an NRX(braid) and an Ugly Stick(FC).

Using your own post as an example its not elementary. People (most pros) cant even correctly differentiate power or action when relating to a rods attributes. You do mean heavy power correct not action? Action is not the same as power. Action to me is extra fast, fast, mod-fast, moderate, slow or where/how the rod bends not the weight it takes to bend it. So to get a standard the correct terminology needs to be set understood first.

Elite and NRX owner here and would say get the NRX cause if you dont you will always wonder if you should have and then wind up getting one anyways. If you can look it over before you buy shouldnt be an issue with the build cause you check for any issues then. If you have to order it make sure they have a good return policy if not satisfied. NRX holds value as well could fish it a year or two and sell it for $360 or so.

Ive have a few spools of Smackdown used it for a few years now and cant come up with any reason for its premium price. No other person has been able to tell me why either. It doesnt have better knot strength than other equal dia. 8 strand lines. Its not the quietest line it. It doesnt have more abrasion resistance than other lines. Color doesnt last any longer. If you can get it on a good sale thats when to give it a try but dont pay full price, well that goes for any line actually. To me its just a good line equal to other $20 line.

Do you have a spinning combo to use instead of the baitcaster?

My Kisler H3 and 13 Omen Black must have been made in that same facility.

I fill my reels completely with braid saves line thus money that way.

Through the eye twice uni knot easy to tie works very well with mono FC and best for braid better than palomar.

Braid no but other types of line there can be a significant difference where palomar will fail.

Braid and buzzbaits go great together get it dont look back.
