Yes mine will pull the spool a bit as well but my other reels do the same at times too.

I have CH50E tried on my Cumara-fine and on my Clarus-fine. That issue would bug the heck out of me.

I wish you better luck than I had with that line. It did work fine seemed to be holding its color, smooth, quiet but my 15# was very weak so now its in its package hanging on my pegboard.

With that REM oil you will need to add a drop more often cause it is very light oil. I use it and after about two weeks or 50-60 hours use add a drop.

I tried 15# Kanzen and found it to be weak would break at 8-9# and this after just a couple weeks use.. The teeth issue well Ive caught a few pike and lost a few with braid so cant say for certain braid holds-up well to those fish. The only thing in my case was the thinner braid I use, 15# on bc reels. PPS8S is what I like used it all last year and so far this year highly used line 15# is breaking a little over 20# so its maintaining its strength.

Well unfortunately my Helios developed some issues with noise on the cast and a ticking noise on the retrieve. The ticking noise I believe was in the thumb bar action but didnt bother going into it I just returned it for another brand of reel. For those interested the Chronarch knobs fit on the Helios. I had bought some for it and had them on for a bit, very nice. Hope you guys have better experience with yours cause it was nice the few weeks it lasted.

I think you picked the right power. I have the 6'6" MH F Premier and its not what I would call a fun rod to fish, just too much power for the type of fishing I do and like you listed senkos,flukes. The 1 vs 2 pc well I dont think Croix 2pc rods give anything up compared to 1pc. My 2pc Avid is my favorite rod and I have a difficult time feeling any extra when using a 1pc LTB rod in the same power.

Ive used 10/2 Power Pro on a couple of reels ABU 5600C4, '03 Pinnacle Deadbolt these arent shallow spool "finesse" reels in any way but get the line on very tight and it workd fine for me. The lowest non-braid Ive used is 8# Trilene XL

I have it on all but one rod (nanofil being the one) my 15# breaks at a little over 20# very hapyy with it and most likely buying more in a couple days. edit: I should clarify I have PPS8S on my reels. Regular PP on my kids reels. So yeah overall PP a good product.

Ive been throwing lipless cranks with mine AWESOME!! Only have a little over a months use with it but boy it sure is breaking-in nicely. Even with the wind we get in N IL Im set on 1 brake. A 5/16 Rapala Rippin Rap soars a 1/2 Rippin Rap is ballistic a 3/4 RES has people in Milwaukee ducking their heads. I may make a 1/4 turn adjustment to the spool tension (20+mph head wind) but other than that it is set. Could open the side go to 2 brakes not touch spool tension but distance will noticeably go down.

FYI Eye entry is most assuredly a means of transfer.

Thats a good choice. My one year old heavily used 15# PPS8S is giving me 20.12# strength on my "home test" method. I would say stay away from Seaguar Kanzen 15# only getting 9# strenght and have since read of a number of others getting low strength out of same test. I took the Kanzen off and replaced it with new PPS8S.

I dont have very many I found this storage at Menards on-sale for $6 thought it would work well for them and other lures.

You have any break-offs with #20? I had a couple with 15# and ripped 15-20 feet of line off then tested the line and only getting 9# max strenght out of this line. Ive tried a number of knots and took off even more line and tried it still not getting over 9#. Wont lift my 12# anchor I have. The knots arent breaking the line is. Casts great holding color fine just not strong wondering if I got a bad spool
