Tunica Cut-Off
The cutoff is low because the Mississippi fell below the negatives last week, therefore sucking water out quickly..... Be careful running on plane down there unless you know exactly where to go, and that might have changed since the big flood this year! Congrats on the trip and have fun at Pickwick next weekend! Jeff

Big "o"
Nice! I would love a day like that! That fish on the left(right hand) in the first pic is very good looking. I really like the lateral line all the way up past the gill and to its eye and "off" look it has! Jeff

Looking For Your Jig Weedgaurd Input

Do They Add Fry To The Lake?
Dont know where you live, but I have seen HUGE(tens of thousands) populations of asian carp fry swimming in my area! Wish I could kill em all with a stick of dynamite without hurting anything else....LOL Jeff

Catfish Question
Agreed.....but what kind of jig were you using for it to be torn up by one catfish? That shouldn't happen. Only thing I can think of is a cheap-o jig with rubber band type skirt tie and it just got the skirt? Jeff

Healthiest Thing You Do?
My wife brought up that I don't do anything healthy so I decided to look up how many calories an hour you burn while fishing. Sitting on a boat and fishing burns 216 calories an hour and I don't sit all the time and I'm pretty sure bass fishing is more strenuous than say bream/crappie fishing. So on the low end of 215 calories an hour on a 6 hour fishing trip you would burn 1290 calories at a minimum. I think fishing is the healthiest thing I do so I petitioned her that I do more. What do y'all think? Jeff.

Looking For A Left Handed Shotgun
I myself am a left handed shooter and have run into this problem many times. 20 gauge is even harder to find. I own 3 lefty shotguns, and one ambidextrous gun. Remington 1100 g3 12 gauge (LH) browning 425 gold sporter (LH) Blaser f3 (LH) Ithica featherlite 12 botttom feed and eject There are several options as far as 20 ga in an over/under. If a pump is an option Ithaca makes the 20 in both featherlite and ultralight, but I will remind you that a pump gun kicks much harder, especially a light one. 20 ga auto's are slim to none with the exception of finding a used Remington 1187 which they used to make in LH, but fetch a high dollar because of their rarity. Many, Many shooters who are left eye dominant have found that the ejection of a shell from a right hand chamber does not bother them. my suggestion is to have him try a 20 gauge beretta auto and see if it bothers him. They are very easy to shim with left hand shims for the stock and with almost neutral palm swell are very comfortable to shoot as a lefty. I duck hunt with a 12 gauge version of what I explained! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask! Jeff
