Half of them are for a friend of mine that let me borrow a couple jig rods to try out.......bet you can't guess which half! LOL Jeff
  3. I'm kind of a hard core topwater fisherman..... check my tag line! I use a 6'6 m/f rod( I'm short 5'3'' so maybe longer for you) with a curado e7 and yo-zuri hybrid 12 lb line. it is what works for me. also throw my favorite topwater lure on it as well.....close guarded secret...shhh don't tell anyone it has worked for decades! Smithwick devil's horse! Jeff
  4. since tying my first jig a couple weeks ago on my buddy's equipment, I have since gotten my own stuff and started tying this week! Anyone else think I am already addicted? Jeff

  16. Thanks for the compliments, AND constructive criticism! I do trim the skirts like that because I ALWAYS use a trailer. Is there added benifits to a longer skirt? Am I doing something wrong? The way I trim them is like a barber would your hair...run my fingers down to the end of the hook and then cut under my fingers. the under skirt is trimmed close to the bend in the hook to allow it to flair out through the upper skirt some! Jeff
  17. Here is the last one I couldn't get to upload earlier! yes it is VERY addictive! Jeff
  18. Roll Tide! From a HOG fan! Jeff
  19. hmmm....ive just been using it kind of like a battery charger and plugging it in about 12-14 hours before I leave to make sure everything was charged. It is now plugged in for the winter. My batteries are maint. free so I should be good OR, they will all explode and cause nasty acid to ruin my boat! I hope its the first of the two! jeff
  20. Have one more when I can get the pic to upload! Jeff
  21. Tied up a few more this afternoon for a buddy........ and the staple black and blue, but I don't have any black weed guards yet....they are coming! Jeff
  22. Do you leave your onboard charger plugged up all of the time? What about over winter to maintain batteries? Jeff

All good guesses. It is coincidence about the clothes. It was very cold and me and Big-O are fo sho twins. I did switch car insurance but that was last year. Not geico but I did save a little. And it is not my pb pond. That place is still completely dry The reason is because this was the very first fish on my hand tied jig. I just started tying jigs and this was my first trip since and my first bass on one!!!!! 123... had the right idea!!! Jeff
  24. For that deep of diving, I would recommend a 5.x reel to save your hands/wrists/elbows/fingers/arms/SANITY! Jeff
