Inertia system= fancy term for the recoil(kick) is what cycles the gun! They kick harder, and if you are using light loads, ie. dove, then if it is not firmly on your shoulder on a quick shot, it will not cycle! Jeff

I am just in the start up process of tying my own jigs! here is my very first ever! nothing like quality products and a full skirt! I am using gamakatsu hooks and at least 4 tabs of skirts on all my jigs! Much better than ANY store bought jigs you can find! I have been buying them from the guy who is teaching me to tie for a couple years, and now its time to do my own! Jeff

Skeeter is very clean, but the motor is a little under powered! I'm not all about super speed(my current is a 1648 with a 25, because my private club is a 100 acre oxbow) but I have been in the underpowered glass boat situation and it is not fun! I guess it all depends on where you fish, ling runs?, and if you can get the price right. You never said if the skeeter guy is willing to go lower....but the triton guy is dead firm. Jeff

I would think the skeeter is a better rig but somewhat under powered. I like the idea of the newer boat and spotless with no need to upgrade the carpet if you can sacrifice the speed. What electronics and tm on sweeter? Jeff
