  1. Agree. I have one in 6.0 M that I use for jerkbaits in shore fishing, it is one of the most confortable handle I've tried. Like the other said, for jig minimun of 6.6 better a 7.0
  2. I use snaps frecuently, I've never noticed any difference
  3. Since I don't know the waters that he will be fishing I'll tell you what I would like to get. Floating ; Sammy 100 in Chart Shad or American Shad. Gunfish 95 in Aurora Black or Table Rock shad. Suspending Pointer 100 or Slender 112. Aurora black or Aurora Bass Crankbait: Moonsault CB 100. American Shad Lipless: LV 500 in Chart. Shad. Which ever you select will fill up anyone Christmas Tree. I don't know what a Real Vibe lure is.

Same here but with Sufix braid.
  5. I like the idea a lot and I'll be using this next Spring.....thanks for posting it
  6. Like Raul said. I just got one, I like it already as much as my TD-Zs. Solid machine
  7. Good choice.....enjoy them.
  8. I fish with 3 TD-Zs and an Alpha, I haven't have this problem yet, ( I haven't have any problem at all, ever )
  9. I fish year around, when the water get < 50 I only use jerkbait and lipless, over the past 2 years my best have been. 1) LC Slender in Aurora Black. ( got more fish for me and got me more tourneys than any other hardplastic ) 2) Yo-Zury Haqrdcore Drum in Holo Shad and Matte Tiger. 3) Silver Buddy
  10. I could not beleive that I'll be getting fish on this lure on November. About 20 last Friday and in about 4 hours.....what a blast, they were not big but they were agressive
  11. The Vipe use to be my favorite for years until I discovered the LVR 500, now is pretty much the Hardcore Drum.
  12. Try Gambler Loco Lizards....man they are hot this Fall. I just cast them with 1/8 T-rig and slightly jerk them and reel them in....there is a fish at the end most of the time. This is one last w/e
  13. no results in here....I think that they are terrible but I keep trying. I'll report back
  14. Senkos and Swimbait are complete different topics.
  15. RW if you are using braid line would the same rule apply?
  16. For med/deep cranking I rather go with e-glass, Seeker fo me. Shallow cranks graphite works OK.
  17. 1) Airrus Ultra XL with Quantum Accurist PT and Sufix braid 50 lbs. 2) George Roth CBR 845 with Daiwa TD-Z 103 and P-Line CX. Lures 1) 5" Senkos 2) Ikas 3) LC Slender 112 in Aurora Black 4) Terminator spinnerbait. 5) Strke King Denny Brauer jig
  18. This is why I like this place so much, I learn something every time. I've never put anything on my handles other than clean them with a dry cloth. RM where can I find the Cook Sealer? Thanks.
  19. Thanks Avid....my F is on the way...........
  20. I use P-Line CX, which is a copolymer, it has some memory that I like with treble hooks but not as much as Fruoroclear, smaller diameter and the abrasion resistance of the fluorocarbon sheath and it floats. For some reason I don't like the feeling of the 100 % flouro that I have tried, confidence factor. It should'nt be too bad when KVD won the 05 Classic using it with a floating Rogue.
  21. Bshaner, I'm with you in the Airrus, I can't think in a trip w/o my UXLC701 that I use as jig/pitch rod. If I have to choose from the 8 BC combos I have, she will be the one ( and she is the cheapest ), that much attatch I'm to this rod. Just confort, performance and beautty. My only St Croix is the EC60MF that is my jerkbait rod, shorter is just more confortable for me to keep the tip down for prolong period of time. I just got my firt truly dedicated Senko rod and I went with GLoomis BCR 864 GLX, I never have any thing more sensitive in my hands, the first few cast I was setting the hook in leaves, to my surprise it casts small weighless lures very easy, hightly recommended
