Storing hooks- solution needed
I have a Falcon terminal tackle box that is tight fitting and has four latches. works great, I've never had my hooks jump compartments. I've had it for years and mostly fish from the bank, lots of hiking and running with the box in my backpack hasn't made the hooks mix up. This is the same box right here, mine is just Falcon branded: https://www.amazon.com/Plano-Hook-Sinker-Organizer-Large/dp/B001O9BV5E/ref=asc_df_B001O9BV5E/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312139903133&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15101137929943590531&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9012166&hvtargid=aud-658219920192:pla-521829835646&psc=1

All Around Fishing Line
I too have been having a line dilemma as of late. Yo-zuri hybrid is a great multipurpose line (I like the ultra soft), you might also like trilene sensation, I have found the two to be pretty similar in performance. Sufix Advance is a newer line I've really been enjoying, too. Lately though, I have been wanting to go to a braid and leader system for most of my setups.

New to Central Florida
Welcome, I'm up to fish whenever I can. Lake Kissimmee and hatch are great lakes, but I'm not very familiar with them.

Wish you would have joined us, we needed a boat. The cast netters have been at it again, didn't get a single bite from the shore, in the 4 hours we were out.

Any day fishing is better than a day at work. Sounds like you had a good time. Well at least I passed FTO. I'm going to head to saddle Creek in the morning with my dad, you're welcome to join.

? Aren't they already NRT if they aren't doing anything constantly, lol. Well cool, we'll definitely have to go fish. I don't have a boat, too much money right now.

Depends on what your A platoon is. Lol. We have 5 districts and 4 platoons per district. I'm on Charlie platoon I work 1800 to 0600. I would be working tonight and off tomorrow through Sunday, but I'm in FTO school, and tomorrow is the last day. In short we have alternating weeks, one with Wednesday and Thursday off and one where I only work Wednesday and Thursday. So if you're on schedule with me, we can absolutely go, otherwise it'll take a bit of advanced scheduling.

High End Rods
Generally you get the warranty that comes with the blanks the builder uses. So if they use a St Croix blank, for example, then you get the warranty that St Croix has on that particular blank. A lot of times a builder will stand by their products and will most likely send a warranty certificate or take care of the product for you.

St croix mojo bass vs. powell endurance
You're going to have a little bit more reach with the 7'6" , I don't see there being a huge difference though with those 2" as far as power. Someone with more "flippin" experience will probably have a better answer though.

New reels, time to pick rod(s)
I think you may like the Kistler H3 in MH, great customer service, built in Texas, and uses a North fork composites blank. That rod is a step up from my KLX that I have yet to actually fish, but from looks and build quality alone I'm impressed.

St Croix Rod Help
So it's only their faster actions that are a power up from their rating? Or have they just changed their tech?

Bait casting reel for lighter line.
I'm not sure of any finesse baitcasters at that price point of the top of my head, but my Revo MGX can't be beat when tossing light lures. It will toss weightless stuff with ease. I have no problem throwing extremely light stuff 40 yards or maybe even more. If you can find a reel similar to that, at your price point, I don't see you having any problem.

St Croix Rod Help
St Croix rods are usually a power higher than they are rated, so keeping that in mind you might want to go with a medium power if you're wanting a MH

St croix mojo bass vs. powell endurance
I like my St Croix rods, I have an avid, a legend tournament, and a premier x. The quality St Croix puts out is excellent, even in the lower end rods. That being said, you may want to check out tackle tour. I seem to remember them doing reviews on both the mojo and the endurance when they first came out. You may find something in those reviews that tips your scale on which to get.

What Is Your Strangest, Unintended Catch
Ouch.....I had no intention of grabbing him, I left him hooked and paddled to the shore to get more leverage and some help lol

What Is Your Strangest, Unintended Catch
While fishing in my kayak a few years back, I was throwing a texas rigged plastic for bass, ended up getting an alligator gar....no thank you.

All around combo for $120 or less
For a good all arounder, I'd say 6-1/2 to 7' MH fast rod. Look at a Falcon Bucoo, USA made for under $100 and you might even be able to find an older one cheaper. I have one from their first run and for the price they are out of this world in terms of quality/sensitivity. For a reel, try to find an older Shimano Curado 200E7 or Citica 200E, they are darn fine reels and can be had cheap now. You might also look into one of the Kast King reels, I've heard good things about them; if you aren't worried about it being made in China, that is. Otherwise, try looking at the Vengance or Vendetta rods from Abu. They are cheaper, $50-$80, so you could spend more on a newer reel.

Reel Recommendations
Got my new rod, very nice, i'm thinking i'll do a first impressions review soon, as I don't see too many reviews of the newer KLXs. I Am still waiting for my zillion to get here, if it turns out to perform really well. I'll probably get another Daiwa or Shimano to replace that Abu SX I want to get rid of. I'm thinking Tatula Type R, CT, or SV on the Daiwa side and a new Curado K or Scorpion 70 on the Shimano side.
