I've spend a couple hundred on a few different baits, don't think I could more than double it. I understand it, but I couldn't justify it for myself.

I'd guess at least 75% of my spinnerbaits are white or some variation of white/chartreuse. It's my first color of choice even in lakes with no shad. Almost every bait fish has some white on it. I'd guess that's why it's such a successful color.

It's been a rollercoaster here. Going from highs in the 50's a couple days, then lows in the single digits with highs not clearing the teens other days. Haven't skunked yet, but I've been close.

I'm not an electrician, I thought 12v was 12v but I guess maybe not ?‍♂️

Got my kayak out for the first time this year. Was hoping to try the new Lowrance but it wouldn't read depth or temp for some reason. Caught about 10 bass on Neds and shakyheads, plus one that wanted to be a catfish. I went and tried for cats and my first cast with a bucktaik I accidentally hit this guy in the side. Not a legit catch, but nice to know I can get one in the boat without any issues.

I caught 10 bass and a 15lb flathead Saturday ?‍♂️. I'll probably be back out there after them this weekend too.

Biggest I've put on a scale was 68.5 but I had another that I didn't have a big enough scale for that I think might have been bigger.

Those wipers, walleye, crappie, everything are all over in the river after they wash in from the reservoirs upstream.

Exactly, and I wouldn't trade my split ring baits for all the Jackhammers in B. Hites boat. They've never produced as well or the quality, for me, so I don't fish them as well because the whole time I'm fishing one I'm thinking that I should have one with a split ring on.

It goes to how I always talk about confidence. Fish what you have confidence in and you'll catch more and bigger fish. I have hundreds of pictures of big fish caught on bladed jigs with split rings, have won a good chunk of money with them, but some people think they're junk ?‍♂️ Use what works for you and you'll get the most of your time on the water.

That's a possibility. White catfish are actually a kind of bullhead, but they have a forked tail. That's a really big one if it's a white catfish though.

I remembered this thread when I was rigging up last weekend. This is one of my favorite KVD 300's that has seen countless big bass to the boat.

Hard to tell, but don't believe that's a bullhead. Looks like the tail is forked, which would rule out a bullhead.

I have the 7' 2" M spinning and really like it. I actually use it for small T-rigs and finesse jigs quite a bit.

I use the 3.8" fat impact style baits the most on an 1/8 or 1/4 ounce head.

They did it for us when my dad and I went several years ago.

I can adjust the settings on it but haven't been on the water with it yet to see how it reads. I have it flush mounted with a Navarre mount that he custom builds for the transducer and kayak so I'm hoping for good results.

I pour my heads with a 6/0 hook, so I understand wanting a big hook.

I believe whoever wins the KC/Buffalo game this week will represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. If I had to pick, I'd pick Buffalo. They're the more complete team with the hottest hand at the moment. As much as I'd like KC to win another one, I don't think the defense is there and the playcalling has been suspect at best many times down the stretch. Everyone pays so much attention to the Bills offense, they glance over that defense, which is no slouch. The Titans don't scare me, even with Henry, and I think Burrow's luck is going to run out throwing low percentage balls up to Chase.
