  1. All our lakes look like that right now. Makes lure selection easy. Went out Thursday with a spinnerbait with big copper blades, a dark colored bladed jig, a dark colored jig, and a noisy squarebill. Fish were caught and good times were had.
  2. The first bass boat I could afford. It was a $4,500 Ranger for a reason.

  9. Lived in Kansas all my 31 years and have yet to hit anything bigger than a raccoon. I'd love to have some rock tamer though.
  10. Swinging football head is my best rig for it. They make a great jig trailer too.
  11. It's only 45 for me and I still wouldn't even bother. I have the day off and probably going to use it to get some bait orders done instead of fishing like I want to. All the rain and cold probably make it really tough everywhere.
  12. Don't even bother, it will be a complete waste of time. Not even supposed to build up where you might get a few hours in the morning. Going to be windy all night. I'd be shocked if you even got let on the water.
  13. Don't even bother unless you like bank fishing.
  14. I use the Big Bite Baits Creature a lot because it's exactly like the Zoom but I can get it in a 25pk for a 5-7 bucks. The Z-man Boar HogZ has been great this year so far too. Hopefully they'll come out with a bigger size too.
  15. I found a really old Jitterbug with the stamped face plate a couple years ago, in great condition too. It's hanging in my shop, doubt it ever sees the water.
  16. I got to fish the Everglades not too long back with another forum member, something I would love to do again. I also had the chance to catch some peacock bass, which was a blast and one of my bucket list fish. Also caught several kinds of chiclids, pickeral, oscars, bowfish, and gar. Tons of wildlife, including big gators, I'd highly suggest it.
  17. I have a Dual Pro Sportsman 3 bank on the way to the house right now because my Minn Kota 330D stopped charging all the batteries.
  18. I use a Curado 300E, Okuma Citrix 364, and a Calcutta 400B for my swimbaits. The 300E is what I use mostly for baits in the size range you're using. A Cardiff 300 would be a good reel for a little less money.

  20. No, I wouldn't suggest using this reel or braid for what you're wanting to do.
