2 Body Shapes On Whopper Plopper?
The 90 has a little deeper body, probably to help it ride higher in the water since it likes to run too deep for the blade to work right. The 130 is more torpedo shaped.

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
A few weeks old now, but I finally put together some videos from @SuperFluke and my day on the water.

Colors
I use firetiger in stained to dirty water most of the time. Don't get too hung up on color. The right bait in the right place at the right time is going to be a much bigger factor than the color of bait you're throwing. I'd highly suggest keeping it simple while you're learning.

Fly fishing
I do well with wooly buggers, both weighted and unweighted. I also have very good luck with bonefish flies that are meant to imitate small crabs or shrimp. They're often built on small, sturdy hooks that hold well in a bass' jaw.

What are your top 5 favorite big swimbaits and why?
I've put a lot of hours and miles on a couple different Punkers and have yet to have a boil. My Slammer on the other hand, has lots of hours and miles and lots of fish to it's credit including some pretty solid fish for this area. Most of our lakes are pretty stained, so I think the slower moving Slammer is probably easier for the fish to find. They'll eat spooks though so I know they'll eat a Punker, just have to find the right fish in the right mood.

Small Baitcasters
I have a 70 Curado and Scorpion and like them both very well.

Does this happen to you with a new presentation?
I have what I call practice lakes, places where they're so dumb they almost jump in the boat. That's where I go to try new techniques and baits to build confidence in them. If they don't work there, probably not going to work many places for me.

Bass & Laser Pointers
When I worked at Cabela's we'd do demos dragging the hot new bait back and forth in front of the fish through the glass. The bass would crowd and snap at the bait on the other side of the glass and we'd sell out of that color bait almost without fail. Thing is, you could do the same thing with a bell sinker and the fish reacted the same.

How big, is big enough?
A lot of the lakes around here crappie have to be over 10" and even over 12" to keep (used to be one they had to be over 14" but now it's "only" 12"). I don't personally keep any fish I catch, but I know plenty of people that like to eat fish so I'll keep some for others on occasion. It's been years since I've had anyone ask for gills though.

Welcome! There's not enough bandaids in the world to cover all the fin holes my hands would have after cleaning that many white bass.

Whopper Plopper
It's a good bait and has been a fairly popular subject lately.
- Does the color of a Whopper Plopper really matter?

For Us KC Area Guys - Fishing Reports
We had 2 boats with 4 guys on the water Thursday and didn't have a fish even close to 18" and they were very scattered. Not a bite further than 1/4 is the way down the lake.

Doubt it unless they release a ton of water and it has time to stabilize by then. Most likely it will be high but falling water levels which makes that lake fish about as tough as it can. As of this morning it's still 2.27' above normal pool, which is still higher than where it fishes best at.

Yes, it's awful. Lake is 3' high and dingy. Tons of dinks if that's your thing though. Might be able to get some largemouth flipping bushes though.

Tube Baits
I've had good luck with a V&M Smallie Tube. For largemouth I like the Netbait BK tube.

Menace grub help
One of my favorites and they usually have a great hook up ratio because of the compact size. A 3/0 EWG with a 1/4oz weight is how I fish them.
