  2. good deal man, it will change your fishing life
  3. I do it a lot with drop shot...the drift gives the worm the constant swimming wiggle it needs.
  4. guys net the shad and use for bait for striper in the lakes there,
  5. add a game clip for fish, floating bait bucket if fishing with live bait, lip grips, net...I carry my boxes just like in photos above when using my OK T13....now have a Hobie and still working that all out
  6. The Delta, Clear lake, or the lakes in the Sierra foothills are all good choices...right in Sac you have the harbor that many guys fish from a yak.
  7. Trojan are top quality as well
  8. I wonder about interference from pings between them
  9. I just bought a 2015 Outback to get the seat and pedals
  10. it just oozes oil, not much just enough to be damp, no drips
  11. S to S is the go to seat for most guys here on west coast
  12. Ive got the 60hp. The only problem I have is re-starts. If I restart it right away within 10 mins or so it fires right up. If I wait an hour or more it is sometimes harder to start than like the first start of the day. First start I have learned to turn key, hold in key for choke for 10 secs or so before cranking. This works much better than just turn-push in and crank right off the bat. Dealer tells me that this series of motor has the re-start issues and nothing can be done to make it fire right off like a EFI motor, its just the nature of the carb'd beast.
  13. Im thinking a bed extender in the rear receiver trailer hitch and some kind of bolt on to the front windshield, like a light bar mount to carry it would work well. The bed extenders from Harbor Freight for instance work either to lengthen the bed of a pickup or can be inserted to go vertical like the height of the top of your Jeep.
  14. throw a Senko at the bed or a heavy weighted drop shot. Put the weight right in the bed and leave it there, jiggling, and for as long as it takes. May have to change color or style to get the bite.
  15. I do not use the front or rear straps. I wrap the straps side to side over the yak and around the rack bars. I put the yak on foam covered bars. The tie downs pull the yak down into the foam and it will not slip due to this.
  16. after the first year of no swivel and the twist Ive gone to a swivel and no more problems. Just be sure to leave the leader no more than 3' or so so you can reel the fish in without the swivel hitting the rod tip.
  17. I was gonna get real excited and at the same time ticked that there was no pic if it was 11
  18. is that one 1 lb bass?
  19. I heard crappie bite is on too
  20. Ive got the Mark 4 b&w version, its a great FF, has excellent clarity and resolution
  21. work the submerged stumps on the steep banks for the big girls hiding out
  22. two strokes do not burn all the oil till they are hot, usually the black oil is called spooge. It is the unburned fuel mix full of carbon from the fuel burn process.
  23. Ive got the M4 B&W version, very good resolution, can see jig going up n down under the boat, very clear....but no contour lines on the map
  24. finally got over the hump and ordered one up on Dune color...its gonna be sweet. Keeping the OK T13 as well.
