Anyone Own A Ocean Kayak??
I have a OK T13 and Ive seen the Tetra 12. It is setup well for fishing and is a quality yak and at $400 is a fair deal...BUT at your height it may be small. I would take it out in the water to test it for size if i were you. You probly can not stand in it. Typically you need a larger and wide yak for standing, but maybe you are young enuf, spry enuf, etc to do it.

Landing Bass From A Kayak
like Francho said some yaks have the scuppers placed just right to put the butt end of the rod in, my T13 does not of course I reel just enuf line to keep them in the water and still be able to reach them. I use a net for the big ones. I have the floating plastic lip grips but dont use them too often, just doesnt seem to be a need unless trebles are all over. I also like to tire them out first by getting them 10' or so from the yak and let them swim around a little.

Help With The Delta
Whe tide is up the bass tuck in to the tules and face out, when tide is low they pull out and into the drop offs and face towards the tules to catch something falling off the ledge. Green colored Senkos rigged weedless and crank baits. If there are thick mats then a frog or punching thru the mats with one oz or so jig.

Kayak Question About Paddle Holder
last nite I went to the fishing store..Scotty makes a fork insert for their rod holder base, the one that goes into a slot and then locks in. The width of the fork is maybe just big enough to work, but with a little heat it could be widened and would work for sure. So, if you already have the Scotty base somewhere it could be your answer.

Minnkota Adjustment Info
Is there a web site someone has made out there to help you figure out how to work on these things yourself? Ive got a turning thru the foot pedal issue and just need a little guidance. It is sloppy and doesnt turn well to the right. Ive tried the cable adjusters under the bottom cover of the pedal already.

Hook Size For Dropshot
I use 1/0 EWG with thin wire or the Owner 1/0 drop shot hooks. The fine wire helps get it thru the lip on those subtle bite days. The Owners are VERY sharp.

Drop Shotting (Going To Give It A Try)
the go to worm out here in CA is the ZOOM 4" trick worm in watermelon, green with red flakes. The actual fishing of the drop shot Ive seen a few basic methods. One is to just hang it over the side of the boat with 50-100' or so of line out and just drift. It will drag along and bounce as it goes, giving it that just right wiggle. The 2nd is to cast out and then drag back 3-4' and reel in the slack. i think this is too fast a technique. I use the third, cast out and jiggle the rod tip while slowly pulling it toward you. Reel in the slack and let it sit for a few seconds and then jiggle it towards you again. ALL of these techniques require the weight to stay in contact with the bottom at all times or the bait just wont jiggle, bounce, swim along. If you are drifting and lose contact with the bottom them you have to use more weight to keep it down.

Drop Shot Rig
I too use the long, slender style...I bend them in a curve and this helps keep them from hanging up in the rocks.

Line Twist With Dropshot
I use a swivel instead with 3-4" of FC tied on the end

Drop Shotting
I have caught my 2 best on DS, 6.2 and a 7. I use the same worm you use as a standard go to, but also have branched out a little and am using lizards and brush hogs now. Have used small 3" senkos as well. I even used live crawdads once. It all seems to work.

How To Rig A Fish Finder On A Kayak
I used the platform and folding arm on my first yak and it worked well as well as being completly removeable in 5 min. I specifically used the Liberator mini from Hook One kayak. I attached it with the 4" or 8" rail and T bolts.
