Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
Its called pegboard. You can get it and the hooks at any hardware/home improvement store. Well yes and no. It is a peg board but its not board. I think its called Gator Board. I bought 3 of the fishermans kit package deals. It comes with some 4"x30" also, but I have not found a place to mount those yet. It comes with pegs, but I went and bought 40 longer ones from Home Depot for my favorites. The peg board gets old, and sometimes breaks apart under weight. This stuff also comes in clored as well. Check out the In the House segments on Basszone. Its pretty cool to see some of the pro's set ups. Alot of them have the Gator Board. http://www.alligatorboard.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=54&category_id=15&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=7

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
Thanks Raul, it is organized pretty well. However it needs a bit more work to get it where I want. The work bench is normally clean and used to work on my tackle.

Restocking the tacklebox/Show it off.
When I had my business I had a 3000sq ft shop for my boat and tackle. It was more then many tackle shops had, and better organized. But I sold and had to move it home. My garage is maybe 600 sq ft so most of my gear is in big totes and put away. There is a season supply of everything I need, and alot I dont need in those pics. When you have alot of room like I did, it doesnt seem like so much stuff.

I order those in bulk as well. I find a Whiskey lure helps em last a bit longer, but like you I seem to run out.

Revo Premier?
Yeah I'm working towards all revos myself. Although I do have an Orra sx that is absolutley unbeleiveable for the price so its hard not to buy more of those... Using the same series of reel makes sense. I use all Revos, but 3 different models. The Revo S is on my Flip/Punch rods, the STX for pitching and casting rods, and the Premier where I want the lightest and most sensitive set up(jigs and plastics).

lets see it... Biggest swimbait fish
Although nowhere near my biggest my avatar is a 9.8lb caught on Oct 2nd. My bigger catch's display to much info and baits which Im protective of. Should have some new ones here soon. January and Feb. are great months here for huge swimbait fish.

Mavricks Handpoured Paddle Tail Worm
I havent fished the Maverick paddle tails but Ive fished most of their other worms and the sharks. They pour great baits, and you can bet they all produce well on Clear Lake. Therefore Id say they will work good on any grass filled lakes. I know they work on tidal waters as well. Only problem Ive ever had is getting orders filled but I order 100ct bags. I think it was just a one time thing. I do know the Zipper Paddle Tails work great to. I have a 30% off code if you want to order just PM me for the code.

Educate me on Tube fishing
Well if that's how you think you "become an expert" at anything it explains why alot of what you post makes little to no sense to me. You can read and/or watch videos all day, and sure that will give you a staring point, but............I dunno.........I guess I am old fashioned it think that time on the water actually using the bait, and gaining experience with it is the best way to learn. I have also learned in 20 years of fishing to take little advice from people that are self proclaimed experts. Look, there are way to many ways to fish a tube to sit here and type it out. If someone want to know all or most ways to fish em its best to GOOGLE and do a little research. Then perhaps ask questions about something specific. Time on the water is the best way, but if you dont know then where do you start? Time on the water I have plenty of, but I dont claim to be an expert, I know what works for me. There was also 2 other active tube threads going when this one started. No worries that you dont understand, I suspect alot of people dont. Its easier to see in action. Its obvious you dont like me, I dont really care.

Which plastics do you burn through the most?
Its hard to say really. In the winter time its Yamamoto twin tails and Zipper Hand Pours Pudge Worm. Spring would be the Brush Hog, and summer and fall the Double Wide Beaver.

Curado/Chronarch for Pithing?
I liked the Chronarch better.

White Rods????
Yes it was and on Bass Pro's Stacy was fishing one on Table Rock Lake. LOL, I had that on but was'nt paying attention.

White Rods????
What is the price of these? $99 for the Veritas $149-$169 Duckett Morrow was fishing what I believe was Duckett rods in the BFL Championships and the FLW Cup. Larry Nixon was fishing the Veritas in the FLW cup. Those are the shows Ive seen recently that I recall a white rod being fished.

New rod/reel combo for Rage Craws
I have a "lunch break pond" I fish daily when there is open water, and it isn't too crappy out. I can wholeheartedly tell you I've caught many of the fish 5 or 6 times. And I have also conditioned them to refuse many baits. By late summer, they are a real challenge, and the pond seems like all the fish are gone. Tie on something new, and they magically reappear. Rethink your game plan

Revo Premier?
I think Abu's are great for casting, pitching, and flipping. Use the Premier on whatever you want a nice light combo for. Match it to a nice light rod and you will wanna fish it all day.

Which Rod/Reel?
One thing Ill say is that if you wanna try a bait caster, you need to spend over $100. ANything cheaper is a nightmare to learn with. Trust me on this, I tried many moons ago. For a rod you can look at a Abu Garica Vendetta. That will give you a good quality rod for not a lotta money. Reels? Find a used Revo or Curado 201B. That puts ya at about $140. Or go spinning and get the same Vendetta rod and find the best reel ya can with the change.

New rod/reel combo for Rage Craws
Your going to buy a whole new set up JUST to fish t-rigged rage craws??? Seems a little ill-conceived to me but.......... I gotta agree with this. I wouldnt even buy a rage craw let alone a specific rod for throwing them. Couldnt help myself. Tell ya what, buy yourself a jig rod and fish rage craws with it. Or if yer flippin heavy cover then buy a flippin stick. Personally I buy a Verdict 7'6in MH and a few bags of Brush Hogs. You still save some bucks while catching more and bigger fish.

Educate me on Tube fishing
There is no shortage of Tube fishing video's all over the web. You can become an expert in a day just by reading and watching.

how many different creatures do you carry?
2 or 4. I dont really consider the Sweet Beaver a creature bait, but I saw it mentioned on the lists above. Same goes for the Paca Craw. So I carry Brush Hogs and Zipper Monkey Bugs. I have all that other "stuff", but the bottom line is, the oldies but goodies still catch big fish. Ive learned that I just dont need to anchor the boat down with 20 different creature baits, I wont throw em all anyway. Carry your confidence baits and fish em. I do have 2 colors of a custom bait in my boat at all times, but I wont talk about them.

Lowrance Electronics Repairs
Lowrance didnt wanna work on my 2 year old units either. THey told me I need to up grade and offered me $50 off a new unit. ;D I bought Humminbird instead. The new group at Lowrance has put customer service in the toilet. They want everybody to buy the HDS units( I also have one and its nice), but one has to question their strategy to make that happen.

Combination shakyhead/dropshot rod question
Wow, you guys are drop shotting some meat sticks. I use 3 different rods for DS/SH fishing. All are ML with a MF action. If Im heavy drop shotting then I use a casting rod.

STX 2009 vs. Curado 201E7
Kent, seriously? Sounds like a bunch of people just calling it like they see it. It is what it is. Revo's are great reels. And alot have stayed with a very good reel. We know....we know, geez man. I think thats the funniest post Ive seen by a mod. ;DMaybe the funniest over all.
