I have both also but my revos greatly out number my shimanos. 2 S, 1 SX, 2 STX, 1 Premier spinning, 1 stradic Ci4, 1 Citica.

Is it just me or has the shimano posse been laying low? It seems there are far more Abu guys now. I remember when it was nothing but the posse ganging up bashing te few Abu guys and now it seems like it's mostly Abu and the shimano guys are keeping quiet.......

I only had to dig an extra 50 for mine but that was on eBay I got both STXs for less then 150 a piece!! I kinda want to replace my 1st gen S's with 3rd so they match the veritas better

What do you guys use on your shaky heads? I want to do more finesse fishing this year a iv stocked up on tons of shaky heads. Iv used them in the past with rage baby craws with really good success on smallmouth. I feel that's not really finesse with all the thump of a rage bait.

Two that haven't been mentioned and are favorites of mine is to nose hook them on like a flick shake head and twitch them kinda Miletus jackall iShad but much cheaper ad more effective iv found. Secondy on a swim jig I tie a 18"-24" leader to the swim jig then put the fluke in the back rigged like you would rig it weightless just with the jig out front. Iv tried it on regular bottom contact jigs as well as the swim jig both ways caught fish on the fluke "chasing" the jig.

I think they sell more of the S model is because it looks so d**n sexy on the veritas. My STX looks ok on the veritas and well all know it's mostly bout how good our combos look lol.

I have 2 first gen Revo S reels and love em I just picked up 2 third gen Revo stx I haven't fished them yet but will this weekend I'll be able to conpare side by side then.

I used home made ones last year briefly when on leave and had good success with white super flukes. I just cast to ledges and kept a semi slack line and dragged it occasionally usually got hit on the pause or weight on the semi slack line

I did it this past June-December just the cardio and then the ab ripper one also. We didn't do the program either just did it Tuesday Thursday Saturday. It is a smoker thats for sure I'm gonna be starting back up again this week same schedule as before with one 5k a week thrown in since the weather is starting to get some what nice.

eBay and the flea market have been good to me lately almost to good lol. I got both my STXs for 50 less then retail for 3rd gens and I got the villain from the flea market for 95. STX and villain normally that combo would have cost me what $380 I got it for $237(142 reel 95 rod)

For me chrome cranks of any kind = northern pike magnet I honestly think my bass:pike ratio with them is like 1:10 and them bass come from areas with no pike lol. Iv never noticed a difference in chrome/black or chrome/blue I just grab which ever I see first.

Well if you count that my boys started then also and my self I have pics of my ex wife the day before her c section fishing at 41weeks pregnant with our first and about a week before our second son was born. My mom said she went fishing on my dads boat when she was pregnant with me.

Yeah as far back as I can remember like serious conscious thoughts it's fishing or working on my dads drag car. I'm known by everyone for my love for fishing I fished every day as a kid my mom some could say bad parenting but I don't think so but she didn't have a sitter for me the river runs right next to the school I was like 8 seriously 8years old and would fish after school till she got home from work and picked me up or I'd walk home I had a little collapasable pole and would catch my own crawfish and use them for bait it was the life.

When did you start fishing? I see more and more guys saying they are just getting into fishing. So I'm curious at what age or point did you start fishing. Me my father said he had me at the river at 6months locked in the stroller with snoopy rod wedged in with me lol. I however don't remember that but I have seen pics of me and him fishing around 3 years and I remember fishing every other weekend with him during warm weather months. So iv been fishing pretty much my entire life and I'm 26. My boys Noah and Jack started young also Noah went for the first time shortly after his 2nd birthday and he will be 4 in May. Jack is starting this year Noah is excited to teach his little brother as am I an Jack nods and gets excited when asked but idk if he quite knows what it is yet though he reads my magazines well looks at the pics he's only 19months this month.

Well I picked up J Francho's kayak the other week so I'm super excited to get out on that. I'll be introducing my youngest son to fishing this year also that has me really excited, fishing with both my sons Noah will be 4 in May and Jack is gonna be 2 in august but I'll have him out with me and Noah. There is a kids fishing derby in June I'm hoping to get Noah in.

Te local one has vendetta2 rods and bucco micros but I won't buy from there. If I see a vendetta miss marked for dirt cheap I may but otherwise nope.
