I have a buddy in my unit going three the exact same thing with his 3 girls the mom is a dead beat welfare leach druggie and he's hard working clean record and a soldier in the guard but because she lied during the divorce he can't get his girls though the moms in and outa rehab. I hope ya can get they system to un *bleep* it's self and you get your girls.

  3. Iv used lobsters on smaller jigs and baby crass on big 3/4oz jigs all depends on the fall rate I'm looking for and water clarity. And pinch em off to get the length u want or use sissors don't bite it they smell like coffee they sure don't taste like it haha.
  4. Iv definitly been very motivated because I also have a promotion riding on this and a pair of Nike or Oakley boots from my squad leader. Id love to take a day off but I can't i bring it up alot but I can't say hey I'm not training today I'm resting. I am above army standards for my weight I think they say I should be 166 if I remember correctly last time they told me I laughed and walked to the shower.
  5. My belly is shrinking my legs and arms are getting bigger. I do weight lifting when at the gym along with biking or elipticals. Today I did a ab and lower back plus the run there and back. I did inclined sit ups and had a buddy throw a medicine ball to me on my way down keeping my abs tight and throwing it back on my way up. Then I did this thing where u do a sit up but well suspended parallel to the ground you bend down bringing your head to the flooranf using your back to bring you back up. I did that starting with just my body weight then went every dumbbell starting at 15 working my way up to 45lbs then back down again. I also did alot of other ab and back work outs to. I kinda figured I would slow down the weight loss once into the 180 range. I used to be 135 for the longest time till I got married then I got my gut and that was it I was always skinny everywhere else just looked 9mo preggo. I don't see my self droping to 135 or even 150 my weight after basic. I'd be happy around 170 and trimmed I was just concerned with the rate it's coming off. I'm not really binging food I'm actually eating more now then I was befor I'm getting 3 full meals now before I only was eating dinner really late and maybe a lunch depending on the day.
  6. I didn't want to jack that other thread bout my weight loss but I'm averaging a pound a day. Isn't that a little much. Now my diet has changed drastically and I'm exercising every day when befor I ate crappy and never worked out other then breaking a sweat taking a dump. I'm running 2 miles a day plus all the walking I do in my gear doin training. I'm always driping in sweat to down here in this humidity. I'm staying plenty hydrated as well. The only supplements I'm taking is glucosamine for my knees and fish oil. Iv droped 17 lbs sense the 1st of the month that's a little over a pound a days that to much.
  7. Idk bout the calorie thing but this is what in doing and iv lost 17lbs in te last 3 weeks. Breakfast I have 2 harbboiled eggs a small bowl of oatmeal 2 slices of cantalope, a glass of oj 4 slices of bacon. Then lunch I have a large grilled chicken salad. Dinner varies but yesterday was veal parm a small salad a bottle of power ade and rice. I'm hitting the gym for an hour a day plus the 1.5 mile run there and run telephone poles back dead sprint to one pole walk to the next and repeat. That's it for food and exercise besides what we do for training but I'm loosing roughly a pound a day which is alot but like another Sgt here said I went from couch potato to the active duty mobilization training and my body is still young and wanting to get back at my ideal weight.

  9. Well I got my new sneakers today and didba 3 mile run and holy crap did they make a HUGE difference. I did the first mile in 6:53 Then we did brisk walk for 2 telephone poles then ran up the hill to the gym about .5 a mile up hill. No pain the whole time other then what I had already from doing insanity max yesterday. Once to the gym we stretched for 10 min then did full out sprints every other telephone pole all the way back 1.5 miles. I didn't get shin splints till we stoped a I was walking to the barracks to stretch and only very minimal knee pain also not till I got back and was done. So with the new kicks I'm running alot better and faster. Also on a side note iv droped 7 lbs sense last Thursday I'm down to 190 and don't look 9mo prego I'm like 5months now just a little bump haha.

  14. I did the insanity work out today holy crap is that tough. Made it threw the whole thing though. Iv taken some jack3d pre work out but that's it I'm ordering some multi vitamins tomorrow as well to help sense I'm not getting the food I should it will help fill in holes that are missed from crapy army food.
  15. My wife said she Is gonna buy me one with a revo mgx for when I get home from deployment. I'm not gonna tell her no after all I'm an Abu fan anyways. So I'll give a review in like 14months when I actually will be able to use the thing lol.
  16. I was gonna recommend a bug out bag or assault pack the medical ones make nice bags as well if u buy it empty but you said cheap and there anything but cheap I have several and use my black coyote tan one for a tackle bag on occasion.
  17. What's the best site to buy plane tickets. I'm supposed to get leave in a few weeks and will need to get a plane ticket but iv never had to book my own flight so idk where to even look to compare and have drawn a blank from all the commercials on tv about it.

  19. They don't care bout my shoes Sgt did offer to buy my boots if I get a 260 or higher on my pt test. Sneakers though I need befor then and iv been flat broke till tomorrow the 15th to much stuff needed at home for te wife for hen I'm gone stuck me with no money. My goal is to be passing befor we get to Kuwait which I will be but once their I have 9 months in that hot weather and cushy camps with everything to go to the extended scale and max that sucker out I used to be in the 285-295 range never maxed the run is what always stoped me my best run time is 14:00 That was my last test in basic 4 years ago.
  20. Oh and the engineers are going to Afghanistan instead of us but that's fine I don't feel like getting blown up doing rout clearance moving slower then the slow we already go. I'll pass and play MRF for when that happens and swoop in to save the day maybe.
  21. Were wondering the same d**n thing haha but we got word exactly what were gonna be doing last night our CO is In direct contact with who he's replacing. Were going as MRF could turn out to be fun they said we will be getting diplomatic passports cuz the guys were replacing have been to like 6 diffrent country's already for missions.

  23. Im guilty of it but I change "like" to "f-in" I have a bad mouth I drop f bombs like no other it's usually when I'm riled up it's every other word or on pauses like you said. Guys get a kick of keeping track how many times i say it.

Yeah my weakest thing is the run but throw a loaded ruck on my back and a gun in my hands and I'm gone see ya later and within EIB and air assault standards(3mph) may not sound like much to some that haven't done it but it's tough. I used to be a sprinter tiny guy now I'm alot bigger and stockier.
