i think its from hard snap casts it happens alot when i get mad or frustrated lol wich just compounds the problem

iv added old split rings that iv removed for oval ones and put round ones back on where to hooks go for that extra weight to get it to sit at diffrent angles

yeah but iv suspending lures float in the tub when i know they suspend in the lake or river but they always float in the tub so hows that work?

is there anyway to tell if there floaters, sinkers, suspending. i got a box full of em i looked at a couple to look for markings stating but didnt see any but also didnt look at every one because theres at least 40 of them. i know i can put em in the water to find out but theres 20+ inches of ice.

same here im up with out an alarm when it come to hunting and fishing once may rolls around its when the bass bight really good at my local lake im up at 5 and on the water til 745 cuz i have to be to work at 8

haha yeah my spelling and punctuation are horrible sad part is I'm a teacher but i teach career and tech I'm a diesel/ag/heavy equipment mechanics teacher so spelling and punctuation isn't a biggie

i was looking threw my tackle and i noticed i had a subwalk i hunted all over for 2 seasons ago cuz i just had to have it but i dont remember ever using it i think i might give her a go this year. anyone here have any luck with them

how would u rig a tube weedless i lost a ton of tubes last year getting snagged on rocks or trees that washed down the river. i was thinking t rigging them with a ewg hook that way i can drag the tube over submerged stumps and trees without getting snagged into the bark. any other suggestions

last year i was having issues with my braided line it was spider wire 50lb stealth braid but occasionally my line would snap when i casted. i checked my guides and none were missing the inserts or had an edge on them. i use a Palomar knot when it comes to braid. it always seemed to happen to frogs and jigs and not necessarily hard casts either but it would just go tink and there goes my lure off into the abyss

i hate that especialy when it comes to spro frogs at $10 a pop

my braid usually lasts the longest depends if i break off alot or have to cut my line due to snags ill have to re spool just due to lack of line on the spool. but my fluoro and mono set ups usually get swapped out 2 or 3 times a season due to nicks and stretching or cursed backlashes

now i got ideas to put on my students 5 week reports that are coming up haha

it was hilarious alot of f bombs though cuz he drove all day the week prior to find an auger everywhere was sold out being end if the season and he bought that one off a friend just to loose it the 2nd time he used it

i was there this past Thursday couldn't get on here to link up with u but i was killing em in the entire water column from bottom till 6 inches under the ice in 8ft of water it was insane best fun ice fishing iv ever had it hooked me I'm stocking up for when i get back from afghanistan just in time for ice fishing

wow sounds like my brother inlaw thats why i like hanging out with him makes me look better when fishing and hunting plus its entertainment like when his auger seperated and went threw the hole he just drilled

tech specs are nice there cheaper this year compared to last year when they came out there listed for 59.99 im gonna pick a few up soon i bought a 6'10 casting last year and love it but i broke it last year also closed it in the car door
