  1. My PB was caught on 8# NanoFil with a 6# Trilene Fluoro leader. No issues at all and I am not easy on my gear.
  2. Until it fails...I will continue using a piece of software I have on my Android called "My Fishing Adviser". Results indicate that may be a while.
  3. Don't fall out of your boat.
  4. Quite. And just fishing.
  5. I have GOT to remember to pick up a few silent cranks.
  6. ok ok spelling corrected.
  7. A light Carolina or Split Shot rig works this time of year for me. Try "long lining" your bait. A long cast past your target and walk along your shoreline paying out more line. Then just start your retrieve, the slower the better. This will keep your bait in the strike zone longer and if you are on them, it will generate some interest You get a little exercise too.
  8. You just asked...and answered. Ask yourself what is more valuable. My girl or my sheet metal? No wrong answer...
  9. Wrong. Pretty much... Reading your side of the story is not enough. Your property was damaged. The party at fault wants to repair it, according to you. I suggest you let them. Your approach has a punitive and petty feel to it IMHO. You are telling them that you anticipate being ripped off too. Not good.

I don't believe so. Many mansions are (were) named like The Breakers, The Elms and Marble House in Newport R.I. Something we brought over the pond I guess.
  11. Hi Tyler, Start right here http://www.bassresou...pshot_fish.html And here http://www.bassresou...ss_fishing.html Great info on DS. Enjoy!

Saw it today at our IMAX theater. We loved it. A Blu-ray buy for sure this summer.
  13. Sunny and 84 today. Sorry
  14. I am in a lucky area when it comes to bait n' tackle. BPS is a mile from me and has a couple go to guys that have helped me get on fish. They hold bass fishing seminars every month and they are huge for me. Two addition shops in my area are real stand outs. I wish everyone on the board had a chance to visit them. The Hook Up out at Lake Pleasant is out of this world period. A small shop in our east valley call Liars Korner is an old school road side store. Great info to be had along with food, beer and ammo!!! Good times
  15. Mine. Ruger LCR 38 special +P Very light. Tucks away perfect. Radical, ugly, super sweet little shooter. Excellent trigger.
  16. A 12# quality mono is just fine imo.
  17. I can not help. But a very wise man once told me that if I find something very hard to do I am probably doing it wrong in the first place. Hope you get to the fishing very soon.

Cool. The trailers have been spectacular. We will see it in a few weeks. I am not comfortable at all in crowded theaters.

Shad. Pretty stained ponds in these parts so the Black Neon has worked for me. More success with this top-water lure than any other type. I am experimenting with it as a swim bait using a rage-rig set up too.
  20. A quality mono with a little stretch has not hurt my crankbait and topwater fishing at all. Helped smooth up my erratic hook-set for sure.
  21. Donate some of the stuff to local youth groups.
  22. Swimbaits only in work in water where bait swims
  23. "Awe...when is the baby due?" "Ohh!!, I thought...i'm sorry.. ...ima idiot.
