  1. Welcome!
  2. I've been playing a lot of Rapala Pro Bass Fishing on Xbox and organizing my tackle boxes!
  3. I agree with this. These books are invaluable and cheap!!
  4. Yeah it's actually kind of sad that he can't keep it on two wheels. I think all the hype and attention got to him. The one person I would love to see win is Windham!
  5. I was just wondering if there are any fellow supercross fans on the forum? If so who do you think is going to take it this year? So far I would put a solid bet on Villopoto. I think it will take an unfortunate injury or bike failure to stop him!
  6. Thanks, I just got a LTB for next season as well. What size patriarch are you using? 9530?
  7. Hey everyone. I'm a bit confused. Did Pflueger make any changes to the patriarch for 2012? I found a 2011 model for a pretty good price and just curious if there were any major changes recently. I though I remembered reading somewhere that there was. Thanks!
  8. Same! I use to switch and decided it was silly for me to do that. Some people are just more comfortable using their dominant hand, and it's hard to find a low gear ration left handed baitcaster.
  9. I would for sure! Hard part is knowing where to begin though. So yes, I 100% would.
  10. I like the various true opinions of everyone on the boards. I learn a lot more because a lot of people here have different views on things (not all of course). I never feel stupid asking a question here and know I'm not going to get flamed. It's good people =0)
  11. I've heard about this too but I have never tried it. I do remember when using it on my dirt bike the cops didn't want me to let any excess to run into the sewers when washing the bike. I can't imagine it would be good for the fish.
  12. Check the seller jmiller12 on Amazon. I just my ltb for $180 from him
  13. Was it from this company or just in general?
  14. I'm pretty curious about the trick worm. With the hair on the ends it might be a good wacky rig bait. I ordered a pack out of curiosity.
  15. Saw a video on youtube for these lures and was just curious if anyone has used any of them and your thoughts? http://strikeon.com
  16. Yeah they are. Unfortunately for me I don't have a boat and I broke my neck a few years back so I'm in a wheelchair. It's mostly only the preserves can get around at =/ But yeah, everyone complains about not being able to catch anything then when they do they throw it in a bucket! They don't even realize they're the reason they're not catching fish. P.S. I'm going to steal that "buckethead" word from yah haha
  17. I was thinking fun & info club. Unfortunately I don't have a boat or the budget for one to do tournaments =/
  18. Funny you brought this up. My usual lake people do the same thing. They keep everything! It's getting harder and harder to catch bass. They ignore the 1 bass a day 15" minimum limit. Just yesterday I caught a 4lb bass and of course the guy next to me asked if he could have it. I just said sorry I am strictly catch and release and let it go right by him. Today I get there and he's at the same spot where I caught the bass! Here is the even worse part. I caught a big frog on my frog lure and he wanted that too! I asked him if he's had any luck and he said no. I kinda grinned happy that he didn't. I don't think he liked that too much haha. People just don't understand how much they can impact the health of a lake. The lake even has signs up saying please practice catch and release to keep the fishing healthy. It's really sad and disappointing.
  19. I would be interested! I could build the website
  20. Just saw an interesting post from B.A.S.S on Facebook and thought it would be a great topic to discuss. Here is the post. B.A.S.S. Facebook fan (name removed) needs your insight. Can you help? He was fishing at a large, local farm pond, and thousands of largemouth, bluegill and other fish were schooling together around the bank. Every cast scared them the other direction. Why was this happening? So what would you do to catch these fish?
  21. Hey Glenn, do you like to texas rig your tube baits or regular jig rig?
  22. I'm in the same situation a lot. I think I get skunked 8/10 times. The things that work best for me are wacky rigged senkos and 4.5" slug-gos (weightless t-rig). I've been told to slow down a lot, and when I think it's slow enough go even slower. Also been told to try down-sizing my lures. For some reason I think on high pressured lakes the fish really like a slow falling weightless lure.
  23. Well nevermind. I won't be testing it out today. Got it in the mail and it was broken in half near the handle. Looks like some moron at UPS stepped on it!
  24. I ended up getting the St. Croix LTB 7' MF "Tube Rod" It was just the best overall feel for me. I am going to pair it up with the Pflueger Patriarch. Heading out to the lake in an hour, I'll be sure to let you know how I did with it! Thanks so much for all the suggestions!
