  1. As far as plastics. I tend to stick with green pumpkin, almost to a fault.
  2. Definitely interested =0) I wish I had the talent to paint custom cranks! Does your wife plan on air brushing them?
  3. I know! I'm actually jealous haha
  4. My brothers fiancée absolutely loves her nook. My aunt has a kindle and it's very smooth and easy. I imagine the kindle would stay updated more just because it's an Amazon product though. I think if she is using it more just for reading. The nook. Games and more? The kindle.
  5. Eh, not in my opinion. I think for the weights and applications you're using you may want to check out the TBS71MF. You'll get a more solid hookset while still getting the finesse That's just personal opinion though. If you really want the XF action go check out the TBS610MXF.
  6. Top waters are something I want to focus on in 2013. I'll have to try out the couple lines you guys mentioned. I ordered a couple Cavitrons that are waiting for next season!
  7. Do you guys like mono or braid better with the cavitrons?
  8. I'm sending my gift out tomorrow.. Probably going to send it 2nd day air because I'm excited for the person to get it haha.
  9. Just a heads up... the LTB's seem to be more tip heavy this year than the past models.
  10. Awesome. Shoot me a pm when a bluegill is ready. Im always looking for good custom bluegill cranks.
  11. I fish from shore too. Give the 4" Z-Man finesse wormz a try. They float really well and I always get a bite on them =0) Another plus is they are d**n near indestructible. One pack goes a long way!
  12. I haven't had much luck lately but a buddy at the lake said a black and blue chatterbait has been doing the trick for him. He's moves a lot and just fan casts areas pretty quickly.
  13. Sounds great... Now I just need to find one for sale!
  14. Do you know how many inches per turn the Lews MG gets? I have a huge problem with reeling cranks too fast!
  15. I searched for a while for the same reel. I'm going to be trying the Daiwa Exceler... http://www.amazon.co...=I1NI8T8LEEE6U2 $71
  16. Welcome and enjoy!
  17. Got my gifts ordered. Will be sending them out this week! I agree. I wish everyone I had to shop for were bass fisherman =)
  18. Congrats! Nice one!
  19. In water temps in the low to mid 40's I like to throw a Luck-E-Strike RC STX Jerkbait or shaky head w/ a roboworm.
  20. Takes my mind off of every day stresses and since I broke my neck that's a huge plus. Plus when I start tournaments it will give me something to be competitive in again. Before I got hurt I raced motocross and loved the challenge and competing. It has also brought me a lot closer with my parents. Since my dad retired he has a nice hobby now! My mom loves it also so it kind of brought us all together more.
  21. Mine still says "processing". I'm going to bet they got slammed with orders. I like the idea of a deals forum!
  22. I'm going to be sending a few reels his way to get them ready for 2013!
  23. Those are some great skirts. Thanks A-Jay =0) Bluegill is the primary forage in my local lake too. Can't wait to try out the new skirts!
