Drop Shot Help
The Fenwick Elite Tech is Incredible. http://www.cabelas.c...ch-All Products (ESMS69M-XF) You will not be disappointed with it. Never used the HMG. Fluorocarbon is pretty much invisible and very sensitive (also sinks). You can use straight fuoro or a braid with fluoro leader

Drop Shot Help
Yes, it's a very good reel. I would pair that up with the elite tech then. Will keep you right around $200

Drop Shot Help
kickerfish1 gave some great advice! I also like the Fenwick elite tech mxf 6'9 (ESMC69M-XF). I also Use a St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass medium fast 7ft. Sometimes I like the slower tip. Just feels better. I use a Pfleuger Patriarch 9530 with Sunline Finesse FC 6-7lb Get yourself some VMC Spin Shot hooks size 1 and I personally think the best lure is the Z-man Finesse worm 4", for me anyway. They last forever and have a great action that even the most stubborn bass will at least take a look at. When you fish it cast it out and pay attention on the fall because that's when a lot of bites will come. You won't necessarily feel those bites but you'll see your line twitch/move etc. When it hits the bottom give it about 10-20 seconds before you move it any. A lot of times a bass will follow it down and stare at it and the natural movement of the bait will make them bite it. If you don't feel a fish on after that do a couple light twitches and let it sit still again. Then drag it slowly until you feel it hit some piece of cover and stop bringing it in. Twitch it a couple times, wait, then move on. Don't be afraid to cast it far either =0)

Craiglist Scam Marshal Pesta
Yeah, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately this is the most common scam on CL and it happens too often! You'll see a lot of this just slightly varied, but it's always "it's stored at this place ready to ship when money is received." I guess it works on some people. Glad it didn't work on you!

My Head Is About To Explode
I've been watching shows and fishing since I was little. Still have a notebook full of notes from all of the fishing shows I watched when I was 8,9,10 years old etc. It's seems impossible to remember everything there is to know. The more you fish the more instinctive everything will get. My best lesson is if I get that "feeling" that I should be using this and throwing it there, do it. That feeling only comes with time though =0)

Need A Light Weight, Long Distance Casting, Spinning Setup
I ended up getting a Pflueger Arbor combo and it's pretty awesome. Casts a mile with no effort using power pro super slick!

Best Northern Place To Break The 10# Mark
This might be off topic but the reservoir I fish here in Il, the dnr claims there may be a few over ten and this place is over 100 years old! Only 70 acres. I think to help you catch one no matter where you go check out John hopes book "tracking trophies". I don't think the reservoir I fish is worth the trip, but if you'd like pm me and I'll give you the details. Spring is your best bet obviously. Biggest I've seen personally out of it was 7lb 14oz. This past spring.

Anyone Have A "mypillow"?
Haha its supposed to be the most comfortable pillow ever. Also helP people with neck / back problems. Thanks Tomustang, yeah I agree. So many good reviews seem to be like that. That review about it being loud turns me off. I sleep on my side mostly.

Weightless Senko Rod
I really like a medium fast rod 6'8" - 7'. It's the best I've found for "all around conditions". I use a Curado 201e7 for the reel and set it so the fall rate is a little faster than normal. Unless it's windy, then tighten it up a bit.

Anyone Have A "mypillow"?
Been thinking about buying one of these. I can never keep my pillows comfortable! Looks like they have all good reviews on Facebook but you never know if they pay people to post those. Anyone here have one? If so how is it?

Question About Wacky Rigged Senkos
Maybe try the heat shrink tubing. http://www.homedepot...ml#.UIDLTcXA800. Just cut a piece of, shrink it to the center and put your hook through that. It'll help keep it durable. Have you tried these hooks? http://www.cabelas.c...ch-All Products I get great hook up ratio with the 1/0 and a 5" senko using the o-ring method. Also maybe you're setting the hook too quickly, bass will hold on to a senko longer than I ever think they will.

"fishing Slow"
I agree, fishing slow is near impossible for me. I'm going to start bringing a wrist watch. Great idea!
