  1. This in black and white.
  2. For that depth I mainly use a rapala dt-14 and a bps xps deep diver (15ft) on 12lb line, the natural colors of shiner/shad/bluegill
  3. The Safety Dance
  4. Shore bound I didn't care for jigs, I've lost more than I can count. Being on a boat I have much more respect for the capabilities that can come out of them.
  5. I've never had that problem, I run up to 1oz deep divers on the 50 and it doesn't break a sweat. I must say using a 50 after a 200 conditions you to think the 200 is huge, but it's not that bigger to the point of discomfort.
  6. Lot of quality in that lake
  7. Way to go! Hope you catch her next year at 6
  8. I have a feeling that got quite a few spots on it.
  9. 20 or 30lb braid line. I use 20lb for inshore with a 3000 reel, holds a regular spool of 20lb power pro.
  10. The chains are meant to grab a hold of the hooks, it's not definite though
  11. Nice work and out of the ordinary story!
  12. I lost faith in my eagles this year, flyfisher you can carry the burden this season
  13. To put simply. I bought one ($11) last month, last week I snagged a $8 crank. Used the retriever and got it unstuck. Almost paid for itself.
  14. I don't think it's worth a $100 more, but at least buy a CI4+ which is the newer CI4
  15. Any lure retriever, make sure the line is strong and long enough.
  16. Just line capacity compared to my 200's
  17. Higher up shimanos have the over the counter warranty, the dicks one isn't worth it for those. Also I've never had a problem with their coupons with others and sale items. Every Dick's I've been too has treated me great.
  18. Well with all the rubbing, saltwater, and berkley gulp the finish didn't hold. I'll have to pick up another handle.
  19. That'll be my next choice if their doesn't work. I don't know how much pressure the job will take to remove since its on real good, ill have to look into that. 0119, I know what you're taking about. I've ran into their service before and came back unsatisfied.
  20. Sure going to miss Faith Hill singing MNF
  21. No way I'd let someone control my boat per club ruling. According to my insurance, I'd have to change my policy to include them on, then have them part of the driving percentage.
  22. You were dorking around with the rod, any brand would have snapped, well besides an ugly stik. Go to their website and check out the warranty. http://www.stcroixrods.com/category/service_and_warranty If you bought the rod new I recommend reading the tags it comes with. It explains what you're suppose to do if you get snagged. The warranty information is listed on the tags too.
  23. For me the $21+shipping is hard to swallow considering it'll probably gum up again, for now I can see if this works since I have nothing to lose on the handle, if it doesn't I'll find another handle knob and keep everything away from, maybe use a glove I just checked some places and its appears to be on back order, no doubt it's because of this problem..
  24. I haven't read anywhere that the G or even the E was crappy. In store, I barely see anything listed for sale when it comes to fishing equipment in a dick's flyer, and their monthly clearance sales are never published but you'll see them around the fishing section. This time they have the cards hung up that say 50% off lowest price listed 'on sale'rods and reels. The citica g is on sale right now for 99.99
