  1. Speak for yourself
  2. They got a license too, long as they aren't doing anything illegal its fine by me. There's times i'll help catch some fish so they don't keep the bass
  3. Thanks for sharing your great times, excellent story
  4. I don't stop. If there's ice on the lake then I go to the rivers
  5. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/113704-rapala-scatter-rap-baits/
  6. That's the first time I head that
  7. It's a great suggestion, though would be a huge undertaking with changing things around, placing older threads to go in each sub-forum, more moderation (would still be the same but having more patrolling), lot of work... Much different than having articles, they have their place and work great, even a good read when fishing slows down, but up to date lures modify the technique to the point where the article couldn't cover. Take the new Havoc Sick Fish, its within a technique but deserved it's own thread for knowledge since it's even different than its copy, also swimbait hooks need to be specific
  8. Every time I hear his name I remember his theme song
  9. That must be one big livewell!
  10. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check them and their gaiters out too
  11. What are the options? I see that fogging up glasses are the biggest complaint for many. I've tried a Columbia freeze one and a cabelas guidewear neck tube, the cabelas does better at not breathing up into the glasses but I'd like to hear more options/reviews. My main concern is fogging glasses, besides the neck protection.
  12. <-------- Somewhere in the 2-3in range
  13. For the time and money you'll spend on getting it to do something it's not designed for you can buy a deep diver crankbait for $3-5. Bomber, matzuo, norman, bandit, just to name a few
  14. Not when you use a blender
  15. Reminds me of prison roadkill meals. Inmates ended up getting sick from wild animals and sued. Good ole FDA I remember my wife tried to bring homemade food to a homeless shelter before and they refused it because it wasn't store bought.
  16. No possession limit here, only for amphibians and reptiles
  17. The upset is from having a good lineup then Lews coming in and took the market away, when that happened everyone looked at shimano for a change and they got lower grade models instead of enhancements Some people say the curado e was a $200 reel which shimano under-priced, so cutting the the curado g down a notch and making the chronarch e shine as a $200 reel would make sense
  18. River Crappie, very tasty
  19. Well you can't catch fish where there is none because nothing is there.
  20. We're in SEPA, it's only weird if you DONT hear a goofy story like that every season.
  21. Still hitting the trout up, season opens here tomorrow so I'll sit back and watch the hoards Hog Suckers are starting to appear in the rivers
  22. Looking forward to something, hope it's not what they did last time to look like they did something.
  23. I was just playing with them again, burning them in on the retrieve, I like the wider weave when brought in faster. It's got to be warmer here to get a bass on the faster action, perhaps the pickerel will be enticed
