  1. Mono was all I ever used on them, I bought some of the shock rods because of a good price I got on them. 7'M with 10lb CX 7'MH with 15lb CX
  2. I'd rather use light, but the circumstances don't allow that. Never know what the flood waters brought downstream that you'd hook into or throwing into that thick vegetation at some places that reminds you of bouncing a ball in the yard.
  3. Has their been a big debate about dead bass in classic tournaments to where articles are posted? Was this a problem before?
  4. When I run low on the spool, perhaps once a year
  5. There goes the premium for batteries and generators!
  6. My area hasn't had a good storm in a while, hope it comes up a little north
  7. He shows he can photograph those fish on facebook, but can't do it for rare large bass and crappie? Sounds too iffy that he would get sizes for bragging but not photos, I would think above all a photo would do it.
  8. The time it would take to retrofit a plant it would be too late, since DEP keeps shutting coal power plants down and they are forced to convert to nat gas.... There's still the coal ash problem.
  9. I have E7's that I use for everything including my cranking. All you need is to tune into the reel and you'll set for speed

A good reason to have AR-15's for defense
  11. I've used P-line ever since Gamma disappeared (bad move Gamma ) from shelves. Once CX started to fade out to C21 I used that. I like the C21 over the CX because it's clear. I never had a problem with C21, It handles hawgs, tree branches, and it has been known to bend hooks. I've also had the same line on several rods with no line lube for a year now, just needs to get a few casts and it's like new.
  12. Retired Millwright, NON-union
  13. We switched to trout for now, both scored with brownies and of course my wife's was bigger
  14. Danica? Meh, maybe she will run out of gas and pout all the way back to the pits. Terrible attitude. She needs to go back to Go Daddy commercials
  15. I was just fixing this problem, ended out working real nice cause we found a great deal on what I was looking for. Typhoon rod rack at cabelas for cheap, just the way I like it. Discount from the discounted price, Also found the cabelas (green snaps) organizers for 3/4off since they were in discounted duffel bags. Budget loyal
  16. We just passed on these saturday, the feel alone wasn't right, nor did the hook placement
  17. I'm budget loyal. 60% off quality stuff is my brand.
  18. I heard they just place it in a box bare with nails and rocks
  19. I tried before but I could not. When I go out to throw a crankbait I bring an arsenal
  20. Taxes kill, when my wife and I left it was like getting a raise with all the less taxes. You got some messed up looking rabbits too
  21. I get it regardless. The money goes to the PFBC for their funding, think of it as a donation, at least it isn't going into some government bridge to nowhere
  22. I don't know about that. Most of the men on this site are married/in a committed relationship, more than half of them have wifes/girlfriends that fish, some of them even fish better than their man.
  23. That's ok, I lived in cali once, being on the other side of the country and waiting 5 days is more heaven for me
