A Week To Go Then Dr Frankenstein Tries To Put Me Together Again, Postponed!!!

Recommended Posts

Starting to feel like Peyton Manning, 3rd major neck surgery is a week away 25th. Not happy about it but maybe it will work miracles. Removing bone and fusing back side of C7-T1. Will miss most of fishing but will come back with a vengeance.

Good luck to you--have knee replacement surgery on both knees scheduled for March 7th--will also miss most of fishing season but at least maybe I will be able to walk without pain

Maybe you should get one of those Rocket Fishing Rods so you can still make the season. Just point and shoot. No twisting or turning while you cast. Lol.

I had C- 5, 6, and 7 repaired 15 years ago, but I still have permanent nerve damage. My right hand is hyper sensitive, which is good but I get cramps in my hand all the time.

I've had to learn new casting techniques, but other than that it sure beats the alternative.

When it first occurred and before my surgery, I had no strength in my hand. It was funny, I went to make a cast, and because I couldn't control anything, I threw the rod into the lake. $400 bucks gone.

Thanks fellas. This will be the third surgery on my neck, already have hardware from C5-T1, all surgeries the front. Going in from back and putting in rods. It's going to work!! Have some bone growth cutting of the nerve to my left arm, removing that and putting in rods.

Get well soon!

Here's hoping the surgery is a great success that improves your physical condition.  Take care, follow the doctors orders, and don't do anything that could jeopardize the outcome.

The final outcome is in your hands as well.

So Boats -

I almost forgot to ask, as most of us have are slightly familiar with Dr Frankenstein's work -

What color will those little bolts that poke out the side of your neck be ?

Make sure your doc knows which is starboard and which is port, or you may have to walk backward the rest of your life.

Great point - and of equal importance is to ensure that you refrain from producing any Sound Signals.
