  1. I'm sorry for your loss.
  2. You guys did good! Nice write up!
  3. When the water is really brown I like to use a red or orange rat-l-trap.
  4. IMO you have two choices, start fishing alone, or you can do what I did with my daughters. When I took them fishing I didn't expect to do a lot of fishing myself. I just kind of sat back and ran the boat and helped them.
  5. I don't eat bass. I like cat, bluegill, and crappie much better.
  6. Of course bigfoot is real. It's on the internet.
  7. Years ago I saw people using crankbaits, senkos, plastic worms, and spinnerbaits in the summer. I started using 1/8, and 3/8 ounce jigs. If one of those won't work then I go home.
  8. I'm going to stick to my old confidence baits. Pop-r, jitterbug, props, and frogs.
  9. Nice!
  10. I like to cast parallel to the tree trunk. I'll fish up and down both sides and then let the bait sink down and drag it along the bottom of the trunk.
  11. Food, and water, for when things slow down. TP for when things speed up.
  12. Black Max 3600. I had one of those about 15 years ago or so. Great little reel.
  13. I had the same problem last year on a pond I fish. Fished flukes, senkos, toads, and frogs with no results. I gave up fishing the pond until the fall when the vegetation started dying off.
  14. Nice bass and nice boat!
  15. That is a nice smallie! Congrats!
  16. Anywhere from weightless to 1/4 depending on vegetation, wind, and depth.
  17. It's a new battery for my transom mounted electric motor. The old battery wouldn't charge more than 60%.
  18. I use to own two Shimano spinning reels. I bought my first Pflueger President about 7 years ago and have not looked back.
  19. Bankbeater replied to Graham's topic in Fishing Reports
    Congrats!
  20. Lipless Crankbaits Squarebill Crankbaits UltraVibe Speedcraws Plastic worms Senko type baits Jigs Spinnerbaits
  21. I've never used hot dogs before. I'll either use minnows or cut bait.
  22. I usually just Texas rig them. If the creature bait is small enough I will fish it on a split shot rig.
  23. I organize by type of bait like lipless crankbait, shallow running, jerkbait, etc. I don’t worry about the size of the bait.
  24. Happened to me a few years ago. Now I keep a roll of TP in the trunk right next to the spare.
