  1. Congrats! Those pics are making me hungry!
  2. $2.61 this afternoon when I filled up.
  3. I'm so sorry. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.
  4. My favorites are a jig, shallow running crank, fluke, senko, spinnerbait, or a chatterbait. If the weeds are really thick I will use a frog.
  5. Good going! Sometimes you just get so busy catching that you forget to take a pic.
  6. Hope everything goes ok, and you make a quick recovery.
  7. Wow that is cool.
  8. Glad you found them, and all ended well.
  9. It depends on the size of the spinnerbait, and/or crankbait. I like a mh/f casting rod for big spinnerbaits and big deep diving crankbaits. I use a m/f spinning rod for finesse type crankbaits and spinnerbaits.
  10. 1. Firetiger 2. Shad (Grey with black top) 3. Chrome w/ blue back 4. Pearl 5. White
  11. Creme Scoundrel 6" worm.
  12. I really started using chatterbait last fall, but I am fishing it a little different than a spinnerbait. One difference that I am seeing is that while I don't always have a trailer on a spinnerbait, I always use one on a chatterbait. I don't seem to get bites without one.
  13. The only problem I have fishing in weeds is keeping them off of the prop. I started keeping a paddle on board for when the weeds got too thick for the motor to go through.
  14. Good job with the flukes. You have some nice smallies right there.
  15. I take a UL with me when it starts getting hot. The bass shut down about 9 AM, but the bluegill go all day.
  16. Nice one!
  17. I am so sorry for your loss.
  18. Looks like those pants got washed with some used paint brushes.
  19. Sounds like you had a fantastic day.
  20. That is a nice one, Congrats!
  21. Casting from the bank on windy days? I allow for the wind when I cast, and I try and make sure that the line doesn't blow into a bush, or tree limb while the bait is going out. The waves hide me from the fish a little bit so I worry more about accuracy than distance.
  22. I have fished a couple of times when the bass will not hit any small bait. They would only hit 1/2 and 3/4 jigs, big worms, and big cranks. If you were using a finesse bait you would never get a bite.
  23. Had the same thing happen five years ago. Finally told my surgeon I wanted my shoulder operated on to get the problem fixed once and for all. Good luck hope all goes well.
