Well at least you spotted the spider before you got in the shower with it.

Jitterbug, buzzbait, and frogs. That is about all I ever use.

Most of the time I fish them like a spinnerbait. Let it sit on the bottom for a minute and then start to slow roll on the retrieve.

That happened to me about 8 years ago while I was taking some meds. I never had anything sting so bad in my life.

Trees, laydowns, road beds, rocks, cover made from pallets, and a lot of vegetation. Some of the vegetation is on top of the water, and some is under the water.

If you are walking the shore then a 6'6" is a lot easier to get through the brush and trees.

Either a shallow running crankbait, or a lipless bait. It all depends where I am fishing, and how deep the bass are.

I like laydowns, and deep vegetation.

I start off with a 3/8 jig and go heavier or lighter from there. I like to stir up the bottom just enough to leave a trail in the mud.

That fish has quite the gut!
