  1. I don't like anything over my face. I put on a lot of sunscreen, and have a wide brim straw hat.
  2. In a boat I will usually take four rigs with me. Three bc and one spinning. When I fish from bank I use two.
  3. Can you say splat!
  4. I usually use a 1/16 ounce white rooster tail. The panfish tear it up around here.
  5. I probably need to fish C-rigs more. If I did I would probably have more confidence when I did use it.
  6. Last year I tied on a jitterbug, but I didn't like the way the knot came together. I pulled on the line a couple of times, and thought it'll work. About 15 minutes later I got hold of about a 3 to 4 pound LM. When I set the hook the fish was gone. I reeled in the line to see that the knot had failed. About an hour later I found my jitterbug on the side of the pond that the wind was hitting.
  7. This year it has been a Mann's 8" grape jelly worm, t-rigged.
  8. Picture would help very much.
  9. Nuts! I thought this was going to be something real good!
  10. Best part about my job is that I can get off every night and come home to my wife and kids.
  11. It's called consumer marketing.
  12. If the shad are on top, and you can reach them try throwing a jig out there into the middle of the shad and letting it fall through the school.
  13. Sloppy muck green.
  14. I am going to say a jig also. When I started fishing for bass I liked cranks. The more I learned to use jigs the more I liked them.
  15. I would go for the 12+ LM. That would almost be a state record here.
  16. As long as there is no ice on the bait you're good.
  17. All I can say is Wow!!
  18. Yeah, it's pretty bad when you're trying to fast forward through the ads and you can't tell one from the other. They just sort of all run together.
  19. IMO, they are kind of hard to cast out. Not like the original.
  20. It depends on the strike zone. If the bass are tight to cover and not moving off of it then I tend to work it faster and cover more area. If the bass are moving around more then I leave the bait in the water longer.
  21. I know a couple of guys that tried that with a stick of dynamite in a small river. Idiots threw the dynamite upriver and it came back on them. Luckily they didn't get hurt.
  22. Too many to choose from, and I don't want to start thinking about them now.
