Spinning reel most of the time for the weightless flukes, but for a weightless Senko I like a heavy action rod.

I use the BPS spinnerbaits. White / Chart, or just plain white are the two best colors around here.

Always use a trailer when using a bass jig.

Never have. There have been too many times that I have thrown everything at them and not had a hit. The bait you leave at home may be the one that you catch a hawg with.

At least a 6 to 1. I like to slow roll spinnerbaits, but there are times when I need to burn them across the tops of weeds or get tangled.

I cast with my right and reel with my right. Always have and probably always will.

Baby Brush Hog, Super Hog, and Super Fluke have all worked good for me this year.

I like the Super Chunks when the water is warmer. This time of year I switch over to the Big Salty Chunks.

Surprise: 1/16 rooster tail. For years I have thrown the larger sizes without any luck. Last year I bought a 1/16 size that was on sale at the local bait shop. I have caught everything on that from LM bass to small sunfish. Disappointment: Bought a couple of chatterbaits when they first came out. I have used them pretty regular over the years and have never gotten a single strike on them.

I keep my gear in the basement. It is unfinished so I can rearrange things as I go, and I don't have to worry about anything freezing.
