Do You All Have One Crankbait Rod, Or Two??
Just one. I use it for cranks, lipless, and spinner baits.
-
Texas Rig/crankbait Rod
I will say use two rods also. Your not going to be throwing cranks in thick slop, and your not going to be burning a t-rig through the water.

Penn State Penalty
Penn State had a responsibility to protect the students that went there, and they failed to do that. Not only did they fail, but it appears that once they found out about Sandusky they attempted to cover it up to keep the $$$$ coming in. Penn State's penalty was not enough.

Share Your Story Of Snagging Rods Or Baits
With the drought we are having the water levels in the lakes around here are going way down. I am finding a lot of cranks in timber that use to be under water.

What Do You Do With Old Baits?
I keep all of my old cranks. If the plastics are not too beat up I will use them as jig trailers. When they get to torn up to be used as trailers I pitch them.

Fishing Injury
I've only gotten a hook in my hand once, but it was enough. I tried the trick where you wrap the line around the hook and pull, and the one where you push the barb through. That sucker was in me good. Went down to the ER and the Dr. had to cut it out of me. Turned out that the barb had speared a nerve and was hung up on it. I would have never gotten that hook out myself.

How To Catch These Fish?
Try throwing a weightless senko in the middle and letting it sink through the school.

Best Jig For My Purpose?
I have been doing good in clear water using 1/8 oz. bitsy bugs. Blue/black has been working the best.

The Olympics
Same here. I can remember being glued in front of the tube watching the Olympics when I was a kid. Now I might watch a little while seeing what else is on.

Whats Your Favorite Deep Water Technique?
I like to throw a heavy jig to keep it on the bottom. I would keep experimenting with plastic trailer until you find one they like.

Top Waters
Are you sure it was a bass that hit it?

Favorite Topwater Lures?
Jitterbugs are my favorite, but this year I have had better luck with a spro frog in the slop.

Strike King Bitsy Bug
I love the bitsy bugs in the 1/8 ounce size. I usually use a super chuck jr. and just let it drop to the bottom on its own. When its hits bottom I like to work it just like a 3/8 or 1/2 oz. jig. They work great in heavy weeds also. That smaller size lets you pull through the weeds easier.

How Much Sleep?
Usually around 6 or 7 hours.

Sleeping On The Couch?
Sometime I will fall asleep on the couch, but it's only for a couple of minutes. I have to stay away from the lazy-boy, as soon as I sit down in that I am out like a light.

Brush Hog Vs. Baby Brush Hog
Another vote here for the baby. I get more bites on the baby than the original.

My Nice 11 Pounder!
That bass is huge! Do you know what it has been feeding on?

You Know It's A Slow Day Of Fishing When....
Unfortunately, yes.

You Know It's A Slow Day Of Fishing When....
Your dead sticking a c-rig on the bottom, and you doze off. I almost fell out of the seat. First time that ever happened while bass fishing, and I'm thinking that the heat may have played a part in it.

Ever Been Scared By A Strike?
Topwater fishing and you think that the lure is out farther than it really is. A strike comes and for a second your heart stops.

Do You Wear Bright Colors While Fishing? Or Camouflage?
I usually wear whatever I pull out of the drawer. Sometimes its a bright color and sometimes it is a gray, or natural color.
