The only time I don't get out is if the water is iced over.

Last winter I had shoulder surgery and didn't get out until March. This year I'm getting out if the water isn't hard.

I have worked at the same place, and done the same thing for over 25 years now. I have had I guess around 10 bosses in that time. Some of them have been good, and some of them were back stabbers. It never took me long to figure out which type of boss I was working for. Point is that just because he is not giving you a "good job" all of the time does not mean he does not think you're doing a good job. It may just be the way he was taught to manage.

It really gets you when they tell you to stay in the car. They don't need to be walked to class anymore.

Years ago when you bought a new product from a manufacturer you bought it because you had dealt with that company before and you knew what you were buying. Today with all the big companies trying to cut costs you never know what you are going to get. For me, brand loyalty is dead. I look around on the internet to see what others have to say before I make a purchase. If people are going to give the next Shimano line a good review I will buy one, but I will not buy one just because it is a Shimano.

I am about 10 minutes from BPS and 15 minutes from Cabelas. I like BPS much better. They always seem to have more fishing items in stock than Cabelas does.

I usually throw 1/4, or 3/8 oz. in white, or chart/white. I like to let it sink all the way to the bottom and then slow roll it back.

I would show this thread to the engineers that I work with all day, but they wouldn't understand it.

I think I had one or two really good looking teachers back when I was in school. These kids now a days have it too easy.

This year I have had most of my luck on blue/black.

I have between 20 and 30 of them. Most are 3/8 and 1/8 ounce.

I use to collect hot wheels cars. I probably have about 125 of those things stashed away somewhere. Started collecting when they first came out in the late 60's.

Probably anything from the early 80's. I was just getting out of high school and had no worries.

After being married for almost 24 years the "we need to talk" speech turned into the "you need to listen" speech, which I get on a regular basis.

Wed. night during the thunderstorm our computer got fried by lightning strike. Lost the PC, monitor, modem, and surge protector. Went up yesterday and ordered a low end gaming computer that should be ready toward the end of next week. I will have to get on BR from work for a while.

I keep mine in a washed out pill bottle. The hooks won't spill out, and you can put it in your pocket without getting stuck.

I collected a lot of football and baseball cards when I was a kid. I think that they may be in a shoebox somewhere in my parents house now.

We use cut up bluegill, cut up shad, minnows, and dough bait.
