  1. After where it was removed from I don't think I would want to eat it.
  2. If I'm going to be fishing from the bank and only taking 1 or 2 storage boxes, I will carry them in an old laptop case. There is plenty of room to fit two 370 boxes in there.
  3. I end up bringing the wrong types of baits because I don't check the lake conditions before I leave.
  4. I have cast out in front of one while its cruising around, but I normally to not target bass sitting on beds.
  5. I use mine for frogs and punching through grass mats. I have about 1/2 of the spool filled with mono backing and I have the braid about 1/8" down from the top.
  6. Years ago I was fishing a 60 to 70 acre lake with live bait. Something hit and started swimming toward the deep end of the lake. After stripping about 1/4 of my spool the line finally broke. I never saw him, but I think it could have been a big cat. I was wondering if anyone else had an experience like this?
  7. I don't fish toads that much. I started running the worms fast after I started getting strikes when I thought that I had left the strike zone and was reeling in the bait.
  8. Jig or a t-rigged plastic.
  9. Going on 6 weeks now since I had shoulder surgery. I have the fishing show TV schedules down pat, and I have read and re-read all my fishing mags. I got out of my sling last Friday and as my strength comes back I guess I will start organizing the tackle bag and sharpening hooks. Saturday I sat in the recliner with my curado watching Bill Dance. I believe that I am slowly losing it.
  10. I tend to rubberneck when I see someone fishing on one of those lakes.
  11. In grassy areas, I like to throw a plastic worm out and bring it back like a crankbait. I will run it just over the top of the grass.
  12. Prayers sent.
  13. I use snaps for cranks and lipless. Everything else gets tied on.
  14. I use Booyah jigs, but I remove the rattles.
  15. Green Pumpkin Black Grape Watermelon Red
  16. Thanks for the info. I didn't know BPS was stocking them.
  17. Favorite companies would be Cotton Cordell and Creme. Favorite lure would be the Big-O. I use to catch a ton on that lure when I was younger.
  18. We usually see a lot of them in lakes near the river after a flood. I haven't seen one that large in a long time.
  19. If you are staying at a cabin or resort, find out how much boat rental is. If you are driving a long distance and pulling your boat, it may be cheaper to rent a boat and save some $$$ on gas.
  20. Had to be when I untied the boat then remembered I had left something on the dock. I had one foot on the dock and one in the boat and nearly went in the lake.
  21. It depends on what type of cover I'm fishing in. If I'm in fairly open water I will use spinning gear. If I'm in thick slop I will use a baitcaster.
