Its fast at work and at home for me.

I chose Shimano for spinning. The reel I have is the smoothest spinning reel that I have ever owned. For bait casting I chose Shimano also. I have some abus but I will probably buy another curado the next time that I need one.

I was going through my box last night and I came across two more. In line spinner baits and grubs. I just can't seem to do any good with them.

Beetle spins. I just cannot catch anything on these baits at all. I probably have 10 or 12 in different sizes and colors.

I am wishing for no hard water in January.

Its a good way to fish in the winter. Cast out your bait, put your hand in your pocket to keep it warm. When the hand holding the rod gets cold, twitch the bait and switch hands.

Yesterday I went out to a subdivision lake that I have been hearing about. The lake didn't look to have a lot of cover in it so I spent a couple of hours fishing around the swimming dock. Didn't get any bites so I went home for lunch. The lake is only about 10 minutes from my house. After I got back to the lake I tried fishing the other side of the lake which a retaining wall built out of large stones. About an hour later I tried bouncing a spinner bait off of the rocks and pulled out a 3-02 bass. That was my only one of the day, but it was a nice one.

This hornet nest was in a tree that was on an island we were fishing around last year.

I have a 6'-6" MH that I have used for cranks for the last three years. I wouldn't use it for plastics though.

I had a few different ones, but I pitched them all a few months back. I bought them a couple of years ago and they were just sitting in my tackle bag taking up space.

I only throw top water baits and shallow runners from the bank. For deep fishing I use plastics, jigs and spinnerbaits.

If I remember correctly, Young Frankenstein was in B&W. I think that was made in the early 70's.
