Its alright around here until about 9:30 or 10:00 AM, then it feels like your under a heat lamp for the rest of the day.

This year its been 16 while pond hopping. It was a mix of largemouth, crappie, and bluegill.

On the spinning rig I will use 1/16 or 1/8 depending on the lake conditions. On the baitcaster I will use 3/16, 1/4, or 5/16.

Call me old fashioned, but I am still partial to the Cordell Big-o. I've caught a ton of fish on them over the years.

Yo-zuri Hybrid and Big Game. Both in 15 pound.

I use to use 5'-6" and 6'-0" all of the time. Now I don't use anything shorter than 6'-6".

This one hit a 1/8 jig that I was fishing parallel to the bank. It hit about 2 feet from a little bush that was sticking out over the water. It went 5-0 even on my scale.

A white spinnerbait, Zoom super fluke, and an 1/8 ounce jig.

I have a ziploc bag that they go in after they become too beat up. From there they get used as jig trailers.

Black Jitterbug or a black spinnerbait.

I love my St. Croix rod, but most of my others are Daiwa and BPS.

I run the line through a couple of big phone books to keep up the tension.

I have a couple. Using in line spinnerbaits the only thing I can seem to catch is grass. The only thing that I seem to be able to catch on hollow body frogs are real frogs.

After jumping around and whooping it up I'd call the conservation dept. and ask them how to handle it. Better yet call them before going to the lake and find out what to do just in case I would catch a state record.

The only topwater that I ever throw at night is a jitterbug.

I haven't used a sahara, but I bought a president about a month ago and I love it.
