  1. I've used the hockey tape before on rods and also played travel hockey for 8 years black tape will gum up more than white I would use white even if it means redoing it to keep it clean. If you can find camo that is the least likely to gum up along with yellow but have a more thin/dry feeling to them. They also make hockey tape that is used for the handle of the stick. it's kinda like that stretchy medical, tape you could tape that on and add a ring of regular hockey tape on the ends to keep it on
  2. Very dark water or low light conditions it casts a silhoutte better than other colors.
  3. I feel like they're pretty important when punching with 1-1.5 Oz weights
  4. Line conditioner on light fluorocarbon/ yo-zurihybrid should be fine as long as it's not a cheap line that will have manageability issues also the hybrid comes in a model specifically for spinning but I've never used it. If you like braid there's many multi colored braids like fireline tracer braid that are easy to see on top but low vis to fish
  5. Just remember with these boats your stability comes from the width not the length my tracker is a 1542 15' long 42" wide and it's very stable with two people standing up on the beach seats I like the flat bottom because I get into some very shallow water with it
  6. Got about 15 between me and a buddy today at lox
  7. I saw you going out to fish as I was putting my boat in and we left at like 11 fishing was slow. We went out today and were throwing gambler big EZs in the weeds absolutely horrible because of the gars ripping our tails off, but I got about 9 fish and they guy with me got about 5 I'll be back out there bright and early tomorrow morning.
  8. I saw your boat heading out there as I was putting my boat in
  9. On the back bottom left I think there's a weird square looking thing that's supoorted by wood underneath that's where I drilled mine when I had that boat
  10. Mend it doesn't leave a stiff spot on the bait
  11. Saw these online and am pondering the idea of putting one on my jon boat. I feel like it would be good to troll around and stop on whatever cover I want and flip it a few times. Anyone try it yet? Is it worth the nearly $700?
  12. Went to 20 mile bend today the grass was really high, higher than I've ever seen it there we only got a few small fish and a decent mud fish
  13. I found one labeled for 19.97 but they wouldn't give me that price
  14. Ok thanks I appreciate it
  15. If I were to fix it what determines if I get just the impeller kit or the whole water pump kit?
  16. I just got one of these in a trade for some old junk, it needs spark plugs a prop and a water pump kit to get running again. It also has a brand new fuel pump. My question is, will it be worth it to fix it up? I already have a brand new 2014 motor for my jon boat so I would probably just sell it for a profit or if it's not worth fixing up maybe keep it for a man cave or sell for parts what would you do?
  17. I used to fish 2 out of an 8 foot I wouldn't do it again
  18. I used to fish 2 out of an 8 foot I wouldn't do it again
  19. I'm looking to do something in my wood shop class to help organize my tackle in the garage/house. I was wondering if you guys had any plans or ideas for me. Thank you in advance
  20. I would step up to the lightning rod or lightning rod shock they're $40 at Walmart
  21. I have one that I'm fishing paddle tail swimbaits with like the gambler big EZ it was quite a lot of reel for someone who has only fished these 2008 and never low profiles but I adjusted just fine and wouldn't doubt it could handle bigger baits
  22. I would get four citica E's about $400 probably less four *** blacks $400 and a chronarch ci4/Phenix M1 on sale
  23. Oh I've seem those I didn't even realize that was a house brand... They look like the bill Lewis one too. Thanks for the picture.
  24. I've made my own kind of hypothesis here so take it with a grain of salt but to me a new moon means less light at night therefor bass feed more during the day to compensate.
  25. Could you post a picture of those dicks sporting goods traps I can't find them?
