On a motor that small power trim doesn't do much. It will go out over time and that's another expense besides the initial purchase price. I have a 15 HP 4 stroke and its really easy to lift by hand. The only disadvantage to not having it is you can't trim it up once you get on plane like some of the bigger boats do to get more top end.

In grass that you'd normally lose feel or get caught up in I peg my weight. If you do get hung up put slack in your line and pop your rod once or twice sometimes you'll get bit doing that. Other than that try to get as close to your target as possible.

If you're looking at buying new that sun dolphin pro 120 is the only option for what you're looking at. But like I said the bass tender 11.3 is very similar and a great boat

Kinda funny to look back at my response a year and a half ago when this thread started. I have since bought a small boat and tow vehicle and gotten into some of the high end gear. My number has gotten a lot higher now lol.

A basstender 11.3 is almost the same boat without the carpet. I sold mine to buy my first vehicle but really do miss it. Just am awesome little boat

Yup saw some yesterday out at lox the canal in my backyard has them too.

I think that once you get a not so realistic pattern with some realistic colors in the water moving/wobbling they almost blend into something realistic. More times than not, I think bass strike because the bait is moving, which they register as alive and therefore food.

Finally found a local dealer that let me handle them so I for sure will be buying them. The question now is to buy 3 or buy 2 and put hawg handles on them.

in my opinion the IMX line is the cheapest G.Loomis I would own (unless I got a crazy deal on something else) but is also as high end as I would go also. I have owned a GLX and could not justify the cost.

I have on a 1542 aluminum Jon I love it. Easily the best money I've put towards the boat. I haven't used it on current just winds pushing me around and it works flawless if the bottom is soft. There's a seller on eBay I can refer you to that sells them at a good discount if you make an offer. Mine I just used the regular mount bolted flush to the transom not sure how to do it on a canoe.

Well I guess on that note I'll be ordering 2 or 3 and ya'll can expect a curado G6 and a chronarch 100B on the flea market soon.

I'm looking to update/upgrade some of my reels in the next few days. I would prefer to buy new and can get the curado 200i for 145 each. My question is how are they frame wise? I've read that they almost feel like the curado/chronarch 50E for how well I can palm them. I would really like those reels but for the price they cost used I could get the new curado brand new. I also have a chronarch ci4 that I like do they palm similarly?

Even if your boat is under their rated weight I would get regular power poles. I have the micro on my 15 foot Jon and its great but having a pole stick nearly 10 feet up in the air is a hassle around trees and small bridges

When I fish docks I'll either use a jig or skip a senko underneath it. I also use xraps for peacocks and have accidently caught some nice bass too.

I'm no expert but would say it largely depends on your fishing style and how much you're on the trolling motor. I would also factor in the weight factor if your boat is close to being underpowered.

I try to appeal to as many senses of the bass as possible.going big can help but I catch them on 5" senkos at night all the time. Rattles will give them sound, big tails or appendages allow fish to feel vibrations through the lateral line.

A lot of stuff is good on eBay I personally stay away from power pro berklely fire line tracer braid and gamakatsu hooks that have the size stamped and not printed.

You can pull some off and test it with a heavy weight it'll break less than 30 pounds real power pro will be over

Yup looks fake to me you can also tell by the color legit pp almost looks black when it is fresh. Plus the label on this is from a long time ago they've used a lot less yellow for years.

I would be careful a lot of eBay power pro is bought off of alibaba and DHgate and then resold on eBay. These lines are fake and pretty much garbage. Not saying that what you bought is in fact fake but its not uncommon.

Also being from south Florida I get to see my fair share, and like previously stated some of them are a necessity. They do get on my nerves sometimes with how loud they are and all of the wind they blow at you when they pass, but they have the same right to the water as anyone else. Not as bad as jet skis in the more suburban lakes.

I would personally go with a decked Jon boat purely because you will want more speed. My tracker 1542 with a 15 HP 4 stroke loaded with full gas, full gear, full cooler, trolling motor and battery, and a power pike micro and 2 200 pound guys will go about 24 miles per hour. Get a little wider boat and a little bigger motor and you should be in the 26 range. I only say this because right now I'm kicking myself for not buying the 25 HP. Its not necessary to go fast but fishing areas that stretch over 20 miles gets a little tedious.

I ordered quite a bit about a year ago he even made me some custom colors. Not one jig has lost a skirt and not one jig has bent a hook. Those are usually my issues for my style of fishing. Caught a nice fat spawner a few days ago on my last brush jig. I will be making another order in a few days .
