are grubs as effective for large mouth as for small mouth?

lol. I kno they are popular. All tackle shops i went to carried them. but why many articles and anglers dont mention it as often as the worm/craw/swimbaits etc.

Hi people, Im new to bass fishing. and when i ask many anglers what to throw for large mouth bass, most they say worm, craw, cranks etc. But very very few of them would mention grubs. I myself have caught my first few LMB on grubs. In fact i have caught most of my LMB on grubs. I think grubs do a great job imitating bait fish, so why isnt a popular bait for largemouths?

ok thanks. lol because i caught this bass that was on the nest, and i want to try for the bass thats patrolling but it didnt attack the lure. instead the bass on the bed attacked it lol. Thats why i caught the same fish twice

Get those >10 cent rosy red minnows from petsmart or any pet store and raise them. They are more used to captive life than wild minnow so they are easily kept and bred.

Yeah the peacocks in singapore are about the size of those in south florida. I'll definitely get more top water. Will a soft plastic swimbait/jerkbait work as well?

I doubt bass has a 15 minute memory. Goldfish has been scientifically proven to have memory up to 2 months. and since many bass return to their old bedding area, i think they have more than 15 minute of memory. In fact, some bass at my pond dont hit the same lure twice in a day too

I found a ~1 acre pond in my grandparent's neighborhood. Its pretty shallow around 2.5ft to 3ft deep. I've seen some bass in it, most of them are about a ft long or less. Water is brownish clear. Its in southern california so weather is now jumping around 65-85. How would you fish it?
