That's odd, I was thinking the exact opposite. We need more guns. If one of those school board members would have been carrying, they could have EASILY (as skunked pointed out) ended the matter without the big psycho ever getting a shot off. Criminals and Psychos are always going to be able to get their hands on guns. But, the laws that limit us law-abiding citizens from carrying in certain places are simply handicapping society from protecting itself.

J Francho and Tyrius, ya'll said it was the better to put your extra money towards investments as long as they were above the interest rates. That makes sense. But, Rhino said something that makes sense too: "A rough breakdown of the amortization schedule showed that in the beginning, nearly ninety percent of the payment was interest, and only ten percent, give or take, was applied to the principal. (90 bucks for interest, 10 bucks to reduce the principle balance.) The next payment was a few cents less for interest, and a few cents more applied to the balance) So, if we paid an extra ten bucks against the principle, it saved us ninety bucks in interest. Paying ten to save ninety is a pretty good return on that ten spot. Granted, as time goes by, the savings per month shrinks, and at some point that money might be better invested elsewhere." So, wouldn't it be better to put extra money toward a mortgage early on, but later put the extra money in investments? If not, why? BTW, Way to go Speed!

I'm heading up to our nation's capitol to watch the Military Bowl, hoping my ECU Pirates beat Maryland, in what will pretty much be a home game for the Terps.

What about 'em? They've got 1 playoff win in what, 14 years? And will not make the playoffs this year? I will say its a good thing the Cowboys secondary can catch because Peyton sure was throwing around some early Christmas presents. Without those 2 picks returned for TD's, the Cowgirls lose. I at least hope one of the Cowgirls went to the Colts locker room and gave Peyton the game ball. What were you saying? He was saying, "How 'bout them Raid..." Uh, nevermind. ;D

I was dissapointed that he fumbled, but I was down right mad that he was smiling about it. He had the same smile on his face when he dropped two balls earlier in the game. Dropping a ball is a part of the game. Fumbling is going to happen. But, it's not funny. >

Yes, the Cowboys lost 45-7 on primetime TV tonight, just fell to 1-7 at the mid point of the season, have an injured quarterback, a lame-duck head coach, and the whole team is playing with absolutely no heart, but Jerry Jones is going to make it all better. He'll fire some folks, trade some folks, acquire some folks, say "How 'bout them Cowboys," and everything will be better. ;D

You had 30 minutes to stop and take a good picture without shooting through the windshield. I think you been smoking something. My dad wouldn't pull over on I-95. Especially since it was dark. And it was to the west, drivers side, NOT passenger side. And reviewing all my footage (or lack there of to say) I didn't get the mystical disc, but I did happen to get some of two stationary lights right next to each other. Try scouting before the season begins. I trained a squirrel dog this Summer, and in the process found out where the deer lived, ate, drank, and walked. If you love to hunt "scouting" can become the most enjoyable part of the experience.

Unfortunately, the way they got things done during their 3 Super Bowl winning seasons wasn't legal. They haven't won a Super Bowl since their "secret technique" was discovered. I'm not a Big Ben fan (anyone who engages in that type of behavior should be properly punished). I'm just bitter toward the Patriots because of their defeat of the Steelers in the AFC Championship in 2005. I was there in the 5 degree weather only to watch the Steelers take an @$$ beating. As far as the perfect season goes, I have to say I think a Super Bowl victory is more important than a perfect season. If I sat in 5 degree weather for 4 hours I'd still be bitter too.
