  1. I love the secluded mountaintops of the Shenandoah Valley, in Virginia. I love the beaches of North Carolina in the early Spring, before the crowds flock to them. I love the grounds of Monticello. I love the historic districts of Charleston and Savannah. I love the rolling hills and horse pastures of Kentucky. I love the point of the 3 rivers in Pittsburg. I love the rich history of DC. But, most of all, I love my back yard. So, if you want to see the most beautiful place in America, you're more than welcome to come visit my family. Man, America is great!

Nice. What was your final weight?
  3. Hey buddy, you do know it's almost May. Those type of questions are typically reserved for the Winter months, when it is too cold to fish. Just grow your beard out until December, then come back and ask your razor question again. It'll go three pages easy!
  4. I like it better than expanding to 90+, but would have rather they returned to the 64 team format. On the bright side, every game can be seen live now!
  5. I think he's a smart pick. Sure, he has some work to do to become a good NFL quarterback. But, he's a winner. I like winners. 8-)
  6. Thanks for the update, and thanks for your service. God bless you and your men.
  7. Sounds like that school system is in desperate need of a few leaders instead of just policy makers. :-/
  8. Praying for you and your family Glenn. Thank God she had so many years on this beautiful earth, and that not she gets to enjoy a much better place.
  9. That people are profiting from. ie: tournament organizations holding what amounts to a fishing derby for profit. It would seem the public should be receiving some reparations for the usage of the public use facility along with the usage of the resource. Perhaps even limiting the numbers that can monopolize such facilities or lake week in and week out. Yea, and since taxi cab drivers utilize public roads, we should all get a cut of their profits. Oh, that's right, we do. They pay taxes, just like tournament organizations.
  10. Way to go, both of you!
  11. It is generally assumed by Burley, Dan, Robby, Tin, and myself that any thread started by one, will be taken far off course by the rest, lol. And, these threads are generally enjoyed by the rest of us.
  12. Oh, thanks for clearing that up.
  13. What's a shmishshmortion? :-?

    Amazing man. And, nice name!
  15. Wow! That first picture looks like RW's avatar (except RW is holding his fish out a little farther ). Great fish.
  16. So, you think that those 60 boats (120 fishermen) should just call off their tournaments, or at least have the decency to fish another lake, because you want to go fishing this weekend. : I'm assuming you want to go to Disney World and not wait in any lines too. Here's an idea. Those tournament anglers are limited to fishing a particular body of water during certain hours. Do your homework and find out what time their tournaments start, and what ramp they are launching from. Get to another ramp an hour or two earlier than their tournament starts, launch your boat, and you can pick any spot you want to fish. Or, if it inconveniences you too much to get up early, wait until the tournament is over and fish the afternoon and evening. A third option is to fish at night. On most lakes the fishing pressure is a lot less after dark. As Burley said, it's public water. If you want the fish all to yourself you'll just have to head to a pond or buy a fish tank. ;D
  17. Praying for you LBH. Those dr.'s are going to have their hands full with your big heart.
  18. Hey Jimmy, Can I borrow the Triton this weekend? If you stay at home even I've got a chance. ;D Hope you get feeling better in time to go fishing.
  19. Nope. I love romantic comedies.
  20. You hang out with more drama queens than Oprah. :-* Just put a smile on your face, hop on a plane, and go to Mexico to support your buddy. And, if two months down the road his new bride kicks him to the curve, take the poor guy fishing and talk junk about her. That's what friends do.
  21. Way to go man! That's exciting.
  22. That's the biggest smile I've ever seen on a fish's face. ;D
  23. Preach to participate you need a picture of said dictionary > Sorry man, I didn't read the fine print. http://www.baptistink.com/PhotoDetails.asp?ShowDESC=N&ProductCode=FACE-001
