I just got done eating some baby buck backstrap! Tasty! On Thursday evening I hunted a guy's farm who wanted everything killed so I shot a couple of yearlings (both ended up being button bucks). I've been soaking out one of the little backstraps since then, and I grilled it this afternoon. Very tender, juicy, and tasty! Anyone else eat wild game? What's your recipe?

That's crazy. There's no way "the Dolphins did not beat a single team that made the playoffs that year they went undefeated." Their undefeated season included the playoffs! They beat the other playoff contenders in their confrence, and then won the Super Bowl. So, they beat at least three teams that made the playoffs...probably more.

Impressive times Rock. Are you a Senior this year, or do you have more years to compete? Are you planning on running in college? I ran CC in H.S. but went to a college that didn't have CC, and have just recently gotten involved in road racing. I love it. I'm not competitive, but it's a lot of fun anyway.

Personally, I would like to see the Patriots go undefeated (and then lose in the Super Bowl to Dallas). But, to play devil's advocate, if they lost credit for winning that one game, that would be the same thing as losing a game, thus being a defeated team...end of the undefeated talk. However, the NFL has already spoken on this issue, and NE was credited with the win. Chances are they'll lose a game and Don won't have anything to worry about.

I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, so naturally I tuned in to the Sunday night game on NBC last night. The game was obviously great from a Dallas fan's perspective, with the Cowboys beating the Eagles. However, the most entertaining part of the evening for me was the halftime show. NBC used the halftime show to kick off it's "Green Week" which is supposed to raise awareness on how we can use less energy and save the planet. NBC did their part by turning off all the lights on the halftime show set and using candles! It was amusing to say the least. Not just watching the silouets of the guys on the set, but listening to them laugh at how stupid the whole thing was the entire time. I'm all for being a conservationalist (I even use those expensive lightbulbs that save energy) but I believe NBC did more to hurt their cause than help it. Even the most diehard "Greenies" had to laugh at NBCs solution to saving our planet.

Rudolph Giuliani, an "alleged" Yankees fan, told some Red Sox fans yesterday that he was pulling for Boston to win the World Series. ;D That's like Satan pulling for the Angels to win the World Series! He just lost the Yankees vote.

We get those little ants in our kitchen. They "bug" me so bad because our kitchen counter has black specks in the pattern, so you can't tell when the ants are there until they're all over your balogna sandwich > 8-)
