dont even need to mix up the apple pie, just drink it clear, the best way...though apple pie moonshine is mighty tasty mmmm... anytime i start to feel a cold coming on, i take 2-3 shots of moonshine, clears me right up....

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^advice couldve bought a cheaper rod and a better reel(the reel being more important anyways). ive never spent more than $40-50 for a rod and ive never broken one and they still catch fish just fine...

i just cleaned, oiled, and greased my 5601, casts better than new now, it had started to struggle after a few years, couldnt get no more than 10 feet a cast lol. and i agree the round reels fit my hands better too.

Clayton, you seem to get outdoors and hunt and fish a lot. had any tick bites in the last year or so? get checked for lyme disease. you may not have it but just a suggestion as it will make your joints hurt...

hey man, what size reel is that? looks just like a smaller version of my 6601 ambassadeur. i use that for striper and catfishing. use my red 5601 ambassadeur bcx for bass fishing though. im not a fan of the low profile reels, too small, but love the round baitcasters...you have the -00s i assume, mine are -01 for left handed models

i wrote off Zebco due to bad experiences, never tried that model though. aint used to seeing you in this section Raider, i coulda swore you stopped fishing at one point

shoulda went with an ugly stik lol (im dead serious though) i wont buy anything shimano, not because of bad experience with them, but because i feel people here go out of there way to shove shimano down others throat. example: Thread "just got a daiwa lexa, what do yall think of it" Replies "I would recommend returning it and getting a shimano ci4"...the poster didnt ask about shimano, they wanted to know what people thought about the lexa... example: Thread "recommend a reel in the $50 price range" Replies "you should save an extra $75 and buy this over-priced shimano such and such"...recommending a shimano or any brand reel is fine so long as its in the $50 price range. but dont think its easy for everyone just to come up with extra spending cash to buy a shimano reel thats no better than a $50 pflueger president. recommend a reel in the price range listed... i know that all seems off-topic, but my point is i dont buy the hype around shimano and their products that i feel are no better than many other brands that come in with cheaper price points and are equal or better products than shimano. you can do better than that rod. also, the more expensive rods, yeah theyre going to break. never seen anyone break a cheaper rod though...

all them native americans out west and they cant do a proper rain dance? i mean my tribe has a dancer perform a rain dance at our pow-wow every year in NC and 8 or 9 out of 10 times, it rains that weekend...

couldnt be happier with directv, the weather hasnt disrupted the signal all winter with snow or ice. doesnt have WFN, but it has pursuit, sportsman channel and outdoors channel. fishing shows also shown at times on nbc sports net and destination america...dont know how any of you tolerate dish networks, its awful and unfulfilling compared to directv....

Man, you are an awesome bowler. I got lucky and bowled a 198 one night, with 5 strikes in a row, missed an easy spare with a gutter ball lol on what wouldve given me over 200, i was still excited though. usually my goal is to break 100 on every game. i dont go but a few times a year though. did get my own ball again though since the first one got thrown out by accident in a move. hard to find house balls that fit my hand lol. those 16lb bowling balls wear my arm out. but enough about me, congrats on your excellent bowling scores, very impressive...

Jeron Johnson, who backed up Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas in Seattle is flying into tonite for dinner with the Redskins and a visit tomorrow. People have high praise for the guy, says he would play more but look at who he is stuck behind the last 4 years. Solid special teamer as well. This guy could start for us, we havent had competent safety play in several years. I hope we can sign him to a deal. i still think smith mountain lake may be your best option. if its the proximity to different bodies of water that entices you to douglas/cherokee, then i say dont forget that right on the other side of smith mtn lakes dam is leesville lake. and claytor lake isnt too far away either...
