Favorite BBQ sauce
Normally Sweet Baby Rays but my son whipped up a sauce made out of French dressing and catsup. Had a very interesting tang that coated the chicken very well. It was good.

Console electrical issues-- can you help me troubleshoot?
The best tip is to get a trouble light or voltmeter and start checking the switches. Each switch should be receiving 12 volts to one post whether it's on or off. If you're getting nothing up to the switches you need to trace backwards. You may have a master fuse blown or a wire that's broken loose. Most manufacturers used orange or red wires as the main 12volt lines leading to each switch.

Do I need a dedicated flipping/pitching setup?
I'm using a Team All Star Big Boy 7'2" Mhvy rod with a Revo S. The Big Boy is a brute of a rod with an extra layer of graphite matting. My old Flippin stick will get used for swimbaits.

Parking Boats in backyard
Either a privacy fence or buy one of those temp carports that have the tarp type sides to them.

-- NASCAR --
The races are way too long. The season is way too long as well. The D shaped cookie cutter tracks are a snooze to watch. The plate races are only worth watching for the big ones. They massage and manipulate each race for the best show thereby eliminating the true sport aspect of the series. If I hear Boogity, boogity, boogity one more time I'll puke. Jimmy Spencer is such a NASCAR tewl you can almost see the handle sticking out of his big butt. The racecasts are 4 hour long commercials interrupted by racing. The lucky dog is a joke. Goodyear proves year after year why they could never compete up against Firestone in American Open wheel racing. Are race cars actually supposed to track sideways down the straights? Other than that, I'll tune in to see how Montoya is doing.

I need your opinion!
Simmons sporting goods, on ebay, was closing out their All Star Classics at $40 each but I see they're just about out of them. Occasionally the BPS Bionic blades go for that price on sale.

I use them almost exclusively for C-rigging.

Dumb Purchases
Back when the first LP reels came out in the early 80's, I bought one of the first Bass Pro Shops "branded" reels. It was an LP reel made by Quick. Quick at the time was most noted for making Saltwater equipment. The first reel was broken in the box. The replacement broke on the first fishing trip. I refused another replacement and traded up to a Garcia. I also swore off BPS reels for quite a few years after that.

- Check out who's comming to KY Lake in April...
Seems weird everyone's flying into Nashville and then driving to Kentucky when there's a lake just a hop-skip and a jump from the airport.- Looking for other anglers near saint louis (kirkwood), Missouri
I thought you had dropped off the face of the planet!- Best All Around Crankin' Rod
I use All Star GT2's right now but you just can't go wrong with a BPS Cranking stick. Easily the best rod for the money they make.- Round Reels vs. Low Profile Reels?
Robby, I'm ashamed of you. And a senior member at that . We just went over this the other day. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1232609157- Promotor Says its Safe...
There was a 6 year old killed at a monster truck event just a couple weeks ago. When I took my boys to their first auto race I told them this, (monster trucks can also be included in this advice) Never, ever take your eyes completely off the racing vehicles when they are at speed. When you spectate a race you are becoming a part of the event yourself. Don't ever kid yourself that catch fencing can stop all parts of a race car that has crashed into the wall and disintegrated. Your safety at a racing event is partially your responsibility.- buying rods/reels on ebay?
shhhhhh- Faded Gel Coat
The 2 methods I'm most familiar with are: Pickup a low speed orbiting polisher. Harbor Freight used to sell one that went for around $30-40. I see they don't anymore. It would run well under 1000rpm. Start with rubbing compound, then move to polishing compound and finally finish up with a good wax like MacGuiers Helmsman. You can also do this by hand if you don't want to invest in the polisher. Prepare for blood, sweat and tears. The other is the tried and true wet sand method using very fine grits available at auto parts stores for auto body refinishing. Start with around 800-1000 grit and move up. Finish with a polishing compound and then wax. Keep the paper wet with water and a slight addition of a dish washing detergent.- Networking help?
I would also think no. While I'm no expert on electronics for fishing, the first thing that comes to mind is the firmware that's at the heart of these sonar graphs isn't the same from one manufacturer to the other and thus, couldn't communicate. If you could figure out a hack though, you could probably make a few bucks selling it on the forums.- Tennis Elbow
Unfortunately, cutting out your fishing till the elbow joint heals itself is the best way to eliminate the problem followed by a series of exercises that will help strengthen it. I had the problem. Properly treating it involves a period of eliminating the type of movements like fishing that only keep aggravating the injury. You'll need to invest in a good brace like MD said and try and imobilize the elbow as much as possible.- Don't Wait!
I'm the same way but it's mostly because I don't want to hear the shimano guys whining. "Man my arms are tired, this Curado D sure is heavy." "My hands hurt, this D reel feels like a toaster strapped to the top of my carrot stick." "Sorry the boats listing so badly, I'll take fewer rods next time." "What's this greenish black dust all over my hands? Are my Curado E graphite end plates starting to disintegrate?" I'm not big on having a Loomis guy in the boat either.... SNAP!! "Hey, do you have a spare worm rod I can borrow?"- Original green curados?
Very early versions of the Bantam Curado were in fact, red.- Black outboard L/U stains
Have you been running this in brackish water?- 4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
I remember there used to be a lot of last chance liquor stores on the way out of Paducah.- CHEERS
Ahh.. here it is mmmmmmm...beer - Check out who's comming to KY Lake in April...
