Huh?- Skeet Reese Package
Those "Insert Pro's name here" limited edition series boats normally have some options on them that may or may not be available if you purchase a non limited edition boat. It's usually stuff you can easily live without. The old Champ hulls are outstanding runners. Good to see the line continue on.- You're Invited to the 6th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Hope you all have a great time. Wish things were different for me right now and hopefully that will change in the near future. The KY lake 4th annual trip was outstanding. The lake is incredible. It has an amazing bass population. You WILL catch fish and hopefully a bunch of you will tie into a PB. Have fun and be safe!! That lake can get rough.- New Look.
Looks nice especially since I can post again.- Some boat repair questions
Plan on doing the whole boat with the carpet. Anything else will end up looking like a patch job.- Looking for a Good Western
Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin sing!!! ugghhh Outlaw Josey Wales, Tom Horn, Long Riders, The Lonesome Dove series. There were a lot of good ones in that list.- laser boats are they good.. have pics
Careful, those early Rangers with tandem trailers were infamous for the rear left tire loosing air. I'd shy away from this one.- your best big fish tip in 3 words or less.
stay home sleep- Montana?
I know a river runs through it. Also, you can drive like 120mph on the highways and nobody cares. It's also the home state of this young gal on TV named Hannah. It also experiences the seasons of Spring, summer and Fall for a total of like 2 months. The rest of the year it's winter.- Aircraft repair/mechanic forum with classifieds?
Great suggestion for this place. Dump the women bass fishing board which gets ZERO traffic and add a aircraft repair forum with a flea market included. I've got a massive collection of airline peanut snack bags I'd like to try and unload. ;D- What's the big deal about Steeler football? Read on...
The long term side effects from prolonged consumption of the above beverage are obvious from your post. I'm afraid you've already suffered the dreaded ICB brain damage.- Ordering new boat but which motor?
You also would want to check on local honda service at lakes you most frequent. I've had a couple issues in the past that required a service guy on the water to fix an issue they couldn't reproduce in the shop.- NASCAR screwed up again!
There's no why the highlighted statement is true. If it were, Jr. would win every other race. I agree with a lot of what you said, but the outcome of the races is obviously not determined by the powers to be. I've watched at least a couple races where rules determinations were made on infractions by certain drivers (Jr. is one in particular) where he was punished lightly or not at all while the race was running. That is helping determine the outcome of a race by not applying the rules evenly. The lucky dog rule is one of the most ridiculous of them all and is another that can and has helped determine the outcome of the race differently than had NASCAR kept true to the rules of 99% of all the other racing series on this planet.- Rod Sleeves
Good find. Reasonable prices on those spools. BTW. I don't use Stick Jackets but actually have ones that our very own 5BL has sold on here from time to time. They've lasted a good 3-4 years and work excellent.- Flippin switch
A flippin switch is really not very useful for true flippin. OTOH, it works really well for pitchin. Most switches engage the reel once the thumb is taken off the thumbar without the need to turn the handle. In Shimano's case, their Instagage switch system on the Castaic reel engages the reel when the switch is pushed. You either like the feature or don't. I've used reels with flippin switches for years and love them for pitching.- laser boats are they good.. have pics
You obviously don't have a lot of money to spend. Because of that, I'd stay way far away from that Laser. Way too old and with a heavily modded engine??- heres anoher... 88 hydrasport... what you think?
Don't go out buying a 23 year old boat unless you have extra cash in order to fix all the potential problems that can occur just using a boat and motor that old. That OB could blow at the next turn of the key. Wiring, plumbing, etc is all susceptable to fail at anytime on the water in a boat that old. I've owned a number of them. $2000 could be spent in the blink of an eye keeping up on a boat that old. You have no idea how any boat 23 years old was used and maintained throughout it's life unless you're purchasing from the original owner.- NASCAR screwed up again!
Again?? They sold out the original fanbase at the expense of growth. Those new fans grew bored and moved on. Meanwhile the old, core fanbase are now disenfrachised with all the changes the series went through in order to gain all those here today-gone tomorrow fans. They've tuned out. Cost to the fans. A typical race ticket cost around $100 a seat. Local hotels jack their rates on race weekends. Nascar has found the spending limits of their fans. For a racing series that originated in the south and has its majority of fans from that area, it has surprisingly few drivers on the track each week from that part of the country. The season is w-a-y too long as are the races. 500 times around Bristol twice a year??? Gimme a break. Races lasting 3 to 4 + hours are way longer than the attention spans of the majority of casual fans that might want to watch a Nascar race. It's even taxing on race fans who are interested. Too many cookie cutter race tracks that look alike. All added at the expense of dropped races at places like Rockingham and the 2nd race at Darlington among others. National Association of Stock Car Racing. Stock cars my butt. Remember the Plymouth Daytona Superbirds or the Ford Talledega's? You could go to the showroom floor and buy a car that was very, very close to what was actually on the racetrack. Win on Sunday, sell on Monday used to mean something. Alas, only in sportscar racing does that have any relevance anymore. Your season champion the past few years is about as exciting and colorful as a bucket of primer gray paint. With the big money involved in the sport anymore, the racers are more about being corporate pitch men than they are live on the edge race car drivers. Even Tony Stewart has managed to clean up his act. Green-white-checkers, the Lucky dog, rule changes in the middle of races, etc. etc. They've long since become a sport that isn't a true sport at all and is in fact, nothing more than a show where the outcome can be arbitrarily decided by the powers to be. NASCAR isn't the only racing series having problems. F1 has had it's own problems, Indy car racing is sliding into oblivion and sportscar racing has always had issues. In the case of Nascar though, most of the problems were created from within and driven by greed.- Rod Sleeves
The stick jacket style are the way to go. No muss, no fuss. You can cram a rod locker full with no worry about rods tangling.- Rod Locker Tubes
Stick jackets are the way to go. Rod tubes merely limit the number of rods you can carry. The jackets allow you to cram as many rods into the locker that'll fit and there's no tangling.- This is why I dont eat taco bell.
I hadn't eaten a TB in awhile. I got a 3 taco meal the other day. Hmmmmm. The meat is noticeably lighter in color than I remembered and it tasted like.... well.... lips and azzes.- custom fit covers
If they're custom fit for Nitro or Tracker boats I'd say they're a good deal especially if you want to trailer with the cover on. If the covers are so-called custom fit for various brands of boats I wouldn't buy it. If you want a cover that can trailer and last you need to get one from the factory or have one made by a cover company.- Only Allison WOW
Nice idea but........... That boat will last a good 20 years. I doubt the LCD will and in fact, will probably be outdated in about 5 years. What happens when you want to replace the LCD unit and nothing fits like that original Hummingbird? Nice but way too brand and this point in time specific.- Recently recarpeted boat
