    thanks for all the help guys im gunna keep trying until i get one im devoted to get one with the jig im gunna try to go tonight and use just the jig ill post whats happens
  2. put like a 1/2 to 1 ounce weight and a good sized hook on hook it through the back and cast it and leave it all day (dads house is on a lake in alabama) i watch it to see if it has fallen over or anything else of this nature and then check it at the end of the day if its gone i put another one on and leave it overnight (ive caught lots of big ones by doing this) but sometimes they will hit it within the first few mintues of it being out there.. ive also gotten straightend hooks and snapped lines when i leave it overnight i use 20 to 30 pound test good luck ! any more questions feel free to ask
  3. chicken liver is my go to bait as well as live bluegill when im in alabama idk if its legal where you are ive caught 50 pounders with live bluegill also maceral and shrimp

    no problem ill keep checking until the video is posted im gunna go again and try the yo yo and do you think i should have the trailer on there on not? it has a rattle attached to the hook so i dont think its meant for a trailer but it looks really good swimming but then again its not catching anything hahah

    i just got back from fishing at regional used the jig the hole time so i could get a good feel for it and didnt get anything i would love some help ive already checked the fishing articles on here and it didnt help me really so i would love some of your opinions and also when a bass hits a jug will it be an aggressive strike or will it be like fishing a senko just a line twitch or movement?

    okay well im new to jig fishing i have yet to catch a bass on one but i really enjoy using them and i would like to get some advise on how to fish them i usually cast and either retrieve right away or let it sink and drag the bottom and i also just put a big hammer 4 inch swim bait on one of them and tested it in the pool and it looks great has anyone ever tried this and been successful? just any tips you guys have for me i would appreciate thanks btw i fish at el dorado park long beach ca and regional park in cerritos ca if that helps at all

    okay well im planning on getting the anacondas from the sports authority down the street and just got back from a recon to see how much they cost and the colors they have: watermelon red & black, red shad, june bug and one more green pumpkin. out of these colors what would be best for a blue colored city park with not much cover and el dorado park in long beach with lots of cover (reeds and vegetation) semi clear water... i mostly fish at the blue one because its really close so what colors guys? thanks a lot for all the help

    i always see a lot of people fishing rage tails and having great results, i dont fish with plastics to much but i would love to pick myself up some of these any suggestions on what kind to get and how to fish them i know the rigs just like do you fish them slow like senkos? or what just as much advise that your willing to give will be greatly appreciated and btw i can rarley find them in any stores around me anyone know what store carries a variety of them the only store that ive checked was sports authority and the only have the anaconda coffee scented ones so just please help me out here thanks guys
  14. went out today at el dorado park and didnt get anything all day we went to a different lake then i thought we were gunna go idk if there is carp in the one we went to but i know the other one had carp im gunna go to one where ive seen loads of carp and try my luck there thank you very much
  15. i love catching spotties on 6 pound ultra light setups they are greats fighters and just a blast to catch! i love saltwater fishing im getting into frashwater since the ocean is like 11 miles from me and i have el dorado and regional right down the street hahha
  16. one time i completely gutted a catfish took the heart out it was still beating and i threw it in a bucket of water and it started swimming it was swimming strong too really strong like it was normal if i would of put him back in the lake it would of been gone! they are indestructible fish!
  17. if you are going to long beach i would go to pierpoint landing heres the site ( pierpoint.net ) there you can see prices and reports on what you would be catching for two adults on a half day its 35 each 3/4 day is 55 each right now you will be hitting bass some cuda possibly sculpin rockfish snappers there still alot of really good fish biting everytime i go out on the half day boat the southern cal i get my limit great baot great crew and the price isnt that bad good luck
  18. im going carp fishing on sunday at el dorado park and this is my first time targeting carp i am planning to use corn but not sure as to what rig to use what size line weight and also how often to i check my bait? and if theres any other tips you wanna throw my way i would really appreciate it thanks everyone

  23. nice flatty those big hammers kill them! thats almost the only lure i use for salt its so versatile and catches such a variety of fish. nice work keep it up!
  24. yes that is defiantly a down side just have exrta long pliers and if your planning on releasing them then i would try and debarb the trebles
