  1. Rod: Spinning or Casing = Casting Power/Action = MH/F Length = 7ft Brand/Model = Abu Garcia / Veritas Reel: Brand/Model = LEWS Tournament Pro Size = Left Hand Line = 12 lb BPS Mono
  2. Shimanoite is that like a hutterite or more like a mennonite ?
  3. LOL seriously plastic vs metal drag star? Does it really make that much of a difference? I cant see how it would. Someone enlighten me. ( I Have reels with both)
  4. I am sure there will be better products from Shimano in the future.
  5. Ive been hearing the tournament pro will soon be available in all the gear ratios for leftys. I heard it on the LEWS FB page from them about a month ago.
  6. Wouldn't i be in the same boat? LOL
  7. Ive got a quantum reel. It was a lower end model KVD reel. It was like $90 at bass pro though. I caught a bunch of fish on it. Maybe like 50. Then i caught a 4lb 10oz that gave a pretty good fight. Then after that it was like really noisy. Still works fine, but when you reel it, it sounds funny ? lol
  8. I got one, cant recommend it to anyone. I think im going to get rid of mine. I got other reels that i can use just fine all day. But my SX just doesnt cast very good at all. I think its the botched braking system. Maybe the new 1 will be better. And Yes mine backlashes like no other.
  9. Yea the new SX coming out is supposed to be better than the previous model. Different type of Magnetic breaking. I guess its suppose to work pretty good.
  10. I would probably get the S. Cant go wrong with either reel i dont think. You might want to wait a couple months a get a 3rd generation S. Looks like an improvement from the one on the market now.
  11. The most important thing i look for in a bait caster is braking system. If it doesn't have some form of centrifugal braking its a no go for me.
  12. Just one at the moment. I got a 7ft Medium Moderate Carrot stick wild. Paired with a Shimano Citica 201e. I use it for my medium divers 6-10ft. Should i use this with my square bills or would i be better off with like a fast tip?
  13. Sounds like a waste of $20 to me. I got one. Garbage.
  14. If the chronarch 200e is the same as the Curado 200e than... Id have to go with the Lews on this one. Due to smoother retrieving, the TP is alot quieter too. And it out casts my Curado 201e7. The magnetic brakes dont hurt on windy days either. The LEWs is also lighter. By almost an ounce. Go buy one on the bay of the E and dont look back. Welcome to the team
  15. The sticker came off? I dont think there is a sticker on mine. Theres a logo but i didnt think it was a sticker
  16. I swear by it. I douse my spools the night before my trips. Baitcasting and spinning.
  17. YUP great deal. Got the same deal as you got a while back. Its my favorite reel just because i got it for $45 and it does every thing i need it to do. ID just use it. Mine was the floor model and it was ready to go.
  18. I just put the neoprene covers on my bait casters. Stick jackets on all my rods. I only bring 2 - 4 at a time so it isnt a big deal to carry them like that.
  19. I use mono because fluro gives me a head ache
  20. Go check out bay of the e. I am seeing buy it now $158 free ship. Brand new in box. From the same guy i got mine from
  21. Never got to play with a Revo Premier. But i do have a Tournament Pro. Picked it up off the auction site for $50 less than retail. Great little reel. Doesn't hold as much line as the Premier though i do not believe. Same weight. Same type of braking system. The thing i like the most on my TP is the handle and knobs. Super smooth & quiet reeling also.
  22. Id consider a Lews Tournament Pro Speed Spool or Shimano Chronarch 200e.
  23. Never had a reel seat issue on my casting model veritas. The spinning though i have. I couldnt find a reel that would fit it snuggly with out the gap. So i traded it off to a friend for a Skeet Reese Rod (Bad choice on my part). Yea dont ever do that lol.
