Actually I think that on a copperhead the dark areas are widest at the ribs and narrow at the top of the spine. The opposite of the markings of the snake in the pic.

DVT built me a rod with Microwaves on it and it works GREAT,

I had him build me 2 rods this spring and a Jig rod will be coming as soon as I decide on a few things. He does a GREAT job!!!

I liked the reel but I did have some unknown problem, I made a cast without any problems and immediately made another cast. On that cast my line broke with about 1" of line coming out of the spool but the spool was spinning ? It was weird because the line broke like I forgot to press the button to make a cast but the spool was spinning so that obviously wasn't the problem? Anyhow I casted a Hud 68 into about 35fow I did manage to buy a Curado 300 today thanks Alonerankin2! And as far as my new Spyderco goes I broke the clip off of it today :-/ BTW, nice Benchmade!

Do you have a suppresser? If so what one? I checked a local class 3 dealer and he had one in stock but it was $975! OUCH!!! I was thinking about 6-700 for a YHM?

I've found quite a bit of load data for it, it's a neat round if you load it with a 110-125gr bullet it will zip right along at over 2000fps You can also load a 200-220gr bullet and pistol powder and get it at around -1000sps! That ladies and gentlemen is subsonic!!! I'm checking into getting a suppressor for it!

I finally got all the pieces to start my build this morning. This was not a kit I purchased everything individually so I could get what I wanted What do you know it at least looks like I remember what I'm doing. Lol. It next to the plainest M4 I could find

I got to use the rod yesterday and I like it. The rod and the reel both worked well. Unfortunately I didn't catch anything on it but I did hook into one in the 5# range on a Hud 68. I had it on for quite awhile before it came unbuttoned. It may have been my fault,I had the drag pretty tight and it may have just ripped the hook out? I was going to rig it with a treble hook in the back but just didn't get around to it. I did get a 16.8# Flathead fishing a Jig. That would have the new rod a workout.

I have the wave and the standard one. Sometimes I Cary one sometimes I Cary the other, the hard part is trying to remember what's in my pocket. I've never had a problem with rust on any of my Spydercos?

I hit Lacygne this morning. I got 3 lmb over 18" including the fish of the day this one that went 4.10 I also got this fish of the day that went 16.7# I've got plenty of time to post this as I wait for my wife come rescue me (my spare is flat)

Yea, I was looking for a 300 Curado but I wan across this BB2 used at a great price so I figured I'd try it. It's got the big spool, centrifical breaks and longer handle but I haven't used it yet so I don't know if I'll like it or not...
