It looks like I have a Pinewood Derby on the 27th so the 4th will work best for me but I can skip it and go fishing if we end up having the Razor Clam Classic on the 27th.

Calm down Mr Clown, I was just stating that not all of them arrive in A1 condition. I'm sure I have at least a dozen rods from TW and obviously am still buying from them. And yes the rod I received with a bad tip had bubble wrap around the tip and It may have been damaged from St Croix for all I know. I did send them an email saying it had a bad tip and NEVER got a response from them. I figured they didn't get my email because it was the weekend they moved to the new location.

im going to call BS. I got a 7'11" legend from TW that had a bent tip and then on another order I ordered a lure retriever that came in a rod tube. It was setting on my porch wen I got home and wen I picked up the to e the end cap came off ant it fell out....I hope they packaged my new NRX good!!! Ill tell you in a day or too

Check Ebay, and don't be afraid to buy a used one. I got 3 "Refurbished" TPs for $310 off the Bay.

Once I got a LTP I sold all of my curados and replaced them with TPs. I do still have a 50E and a Core 50 for lighter baits.

I had my mind made up to trade up a Croix Legend I don't like for an Extreme. However I went to Cabelas to look for a new generator and they had a few NRXs to play with and I fell in love with the 852 NRX! They didn't have any Extremes to compare it to but it was a TON lighter in the tip than the Legend I compared it to. Needles to say I have a 852 NRX on the way to my house!!! Thanks for the help guys.
