  1. We caught a bunch today, catch and release of course, but 2 of the 3 my friend caught died on the hookset. Has anyone had this happen before? He just reeled them in like they were weeds. Crazy.
  2. Im sure catching bass is more fun.......... awesome fish
  3. Diggy replied to slonezp's topic in Other Fish Species
    Thats wild
  4. Isnt the Patriarch finish more durable
  5. I like mine, much less probs than my revo sx with the brakes but I do prefer centrifugal myself overall.
  6. I got a tournament mg in lh 7.0:1...Its still not at any place but Gander Mntn to my knowledge. Smooth reel, cast great, huge spool.
  7. St. Croix posted a sneak peek of their new rods that will debut at ICAST. Check back during the show for Tackle Warehouse's 2012 ICAST video coverage "live" from Orlando Florida.
  8. 7ft and longer although I may need a 6'6 just in case I go somewhere brush filled
  9. I definitely have less line fouling on my micro rods than the standard, especially at the tips. I have to unravel line from around them much less. I prefer them other than when you have to string one up.
  10. try zman brand, that elaztech material is durable
  11. Same minus me catching fish part...skunking at my moms house, algae in the canal, feels like hell outside and biting flies are there. I fish through everyone else on the board.
  12. I dont know about other reels, but DO NOT BUY THE JM CARBONLITE SPINNING REEL
  13. I bought one at gander for 75, returned it next day for another(buttcap fell out), then returned this one because of a crack in the blank. I love the gaudiness of the rod and the feel but the reliability is Audi 5000 ish The wild black carrots are supposedly good but I like the ernge color more
  14. gander =
  15. Good reel is many aspects but can be finicky at times(braking). I have 4 bc reels now and had as many as 7 and the revo was the most troublesome out of all of the reels priced over 100 dollar MSRP. If I had to pay current or full price I wouldnt have bought it after using it, Id opt for something else
  16. If you want the closest one locally its in WPB, I-95 and Northlake, which isnt much farther north of that DSG you went to. I have seen them there priced down also not that long ago. There were some at that DSG that were 79.99 + 25% off but 201 versions
  17. guilty Some days I just try to use everything just because
  18. Fishfreakonline They are the nicest people when I go into the store front
  19. Stanley has those dual hooks, have you tried those?
  20. You can get a curado off ebay for about 130 with free shipping, even better if you check the classifieds at times on the forums...Ive seen them as low as 80 bucks I paid 79 for my citica from DSG new...If I had to pay 120 Id just add the extra on for the curado
  21. Awesome, I need to be at his level. Lucky guy!
  22. Has anyone used these? Saw these have an o-ring molded into the worm. I have no idea how this would hold up once a fish hits it.
